Thank you for looking in on our pet friendly vacation rental home on the shore of Sinepuxent Bay and across from Assateague Island. We are located at 11504 Hammock Point Rd. in the South Point section of Berlin, MD. We offer a relaxed atmosphere for your whole family including your pets. We have a fenced in backyard with water views and a hot tub. We are 5 minutes from beautiful Assateague Island, with its natural beaches on both the state park and the pet-friendly National Park. We are also within a 15 minute drive from the famous Ocean City boardwalk, 10 minutes from the restaurants and shops of both West Ocean City and the downtown area of walkable Berlin. The Frontierland amusement park and a public boat launch are 5 minutes from the house.brbrOur home is a 5 bedroom, 3 full bath house with ample space to sleep 10 people. We are on a half acre lot with parking for 6 cars in the driveway. There is a large 20’x12′ shed with storage for your surfboards and kayaks. It is fully stocked with beach chairs, a beach cart, lawn games, and bikes to ride.brbrInside the house, our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes, glassware, dish towels and more. We have a large dining room table for 10 and a small side table for children. The dining area offers panoramic views of the bay and Assateague Island. There are also sliding doors out to the fenced-in backyard with patio, grill, and hot tub for 6. The large living space has ample seating to view the 65-inch smart TV with HBO and extended cable package. We also have a den suitable for extra TV-watching on the 42-inch smart TV, or for playing video games with any gaming console that you bring. The downstairs also boasts a large bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. Beyond that, down a few stairs, is one of two master bedrooms. This one has its own living space, TV, microwave, refrigerator and entrance from the front and exit out to the backyard patio. Upstairs is a master bedroom with cable TV, walk-in closet, and master bath with walk-in shower. Sliding doors lead out to a large private balcony overlooking the yard with views of the bay and Assateague. If you leave the curtains open at night, you are treated to the sun rising over Assateague right from your bed as you wake in the morning! There are 3 more bedrooms on the second level. One with a queen bed, one with a double bed and one with 2 twin beds. There is also a hall bath with a combo tub and shower, and a door that separates it from the sink area for more convenient use. We provide towels and linens for all bedrooms.brbrWe are looking for vacation renters that will be respectful of our bay area, our residential neighborhood, and our home. We also need renters that will be respectful of the fact that our home is on a septic system. Care of a septic system is very easy but the care must be taken.
