With wall to wall glass bi-fold living room doors in the main house opening out to an extensive covered deck and four of the five bedrooms situated waterside, as you move through the house, you never miss an opportunity to admire the spectacular water and mountain views.brbrThe central living area boasts a large, cosy corner suite, perfect for a family holiday movie watching session on the huge flat screen Smart TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bench and seating for four. Or choose to dine al fresco under the covered outdoor area and admire the beautiful sunsets behind Mt Karioi.brbrIn the main house there are two Master bedrooms at either end of the house, both enjoying water views, with walk in wardrobe and internal bathroom access, one with a King bed and one with a Queen Bed. You’ll enjoy excellent indoor–outdoor flow with a sunny front deck and a larger back deck that is perfect for evening drinks or unwinding after a day exploring Raglan. A small studio space is also available for guests who need to work or study during their stay.brbrThe self-contained guest house sits close to the main house but has its own private entrance. It includes a ground-floor bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom, as well as a small kitchen equipped with two induction plates, a microwave, and all essential kitchenware. The living and dining area is cosy and functional for meals or relaxing. Upstairs, a mezzanine reached by a wooden ladder and separated by a privacy screen features a low Japanese-style queen bed under a half-height ceiling of 160 cm, offering a comfortable space for sleeping or lounging. This layout makes the guest house ideal for small families or close friends travelling light.brbrGuests have full private access to both dwellings and all outdoor areas. The smaller loft sleeps a single person on a king single futon-type of mattress (for safety) but comfortable. Both lofts have storage space for all your needs. brbrUnderneath the sleeping lofts, the floor space offers a full kitchen with a 2-seat table, a separate bathroom at one end and a joint living area at the other end. The living area has a sofa and ottoman with storage, a smart TV, and a work-from-home station (i.e. a foldable desk, chair and a computer monitor for your bring-your-own device). Wifi is provided.brbrTHE OUTDOORSbrEnjoy meals out on a generous deck area (6.5 X 3 m), partially covered by a pergola with a roof system that opens and closes for your comfort and a table that sits four people. Take advantage of our Kamado ceramic grill and a bar learner for barbequing or for the pizzaiolo enthusiast! Guests are encouraged to manage indoor temperature by opening windows and using fans during warmer periods, and by closing windows and turning the heating panel on ahead of time to stay warm on cooler nights.brbrTHE LOCATIONbrConveniently located in the heart of the village, but NOT in the midst of the crowds and noise. It is situated at a 10 min walking distance to the cafes and restaurants and at the same distance to both wharfs. Then it is just a step to lay down and relax at the sand or take a swim, kayak or paddleboard by the Raglan bridge. The house is situated in a quiet and residential area with young families around. Party groups are not allowed. brbrTHE ACCESS.brNo gates from the street, just drive in. The tiny home is the first home from the street. On main route to surf beaches only 10 mins away or park up your car and have a scenic walk to cafes and beaches 5-10 mins. away. Immediately behind us is the track that traverses the Kaitoke Estuary. Great for fitness or to view the scenery or marvel at the bird and estuary life. After a day out either at our beautiful beaches or exploring the region's, many adventures relax in the peaceful environment of this apartment.
