There are several steps to enter the home from ground level. There is a noise monitoring device in the home (required by law) that registers decibel levels but has no actual recording capability. There are exterior security cameras on the home for our safety and yours. These do not record any interior spaces of the home, just the exterior, and are active at all times. The Superdome & Smoothie King Center are less than a mile away (you can see it from the upstairs bedroom) and the Saenger Theater, Aquarium, River Walk, WW2 museum, and City Park are all less than two miles from the home.brbrUbers and Lyfts are easy to come by here at all times. If you brought your own car, there's free street parking around the home that's always easy to find. And there's a streetcar stop about a half mile from the house.brbr***There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***br1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.brbr2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).brbr3. The neighborhood is normally pretty quiet, but we are close to the action in the French Quarter, so there are the usual things associated with living near an urban core like pedestrians, traffic, and (during big events) increased activity. The neighborhood may look a little rough in spots, but we've never had any issues with safety here in the several years we've been hosting!brbrInformation Required by Local Laws: This home is not ADA-compliant. There are several steps to enter the home from ground level. There is a noise monitoring device in the home (required by law) that registers decibel levels but has no actual recording capability. There are exterior security cameras on the home for our safety and yours. These do not record any interior spaces of the home, just the exterior, and are active at all times. Permits: 22-CSTR-15452, 23-OSTR-10030brbrYou'll have access to the entire home and everything in it. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.brbr2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).brbr3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.brbr4. Clean towels are a provided amenity, there is a washer and dryer in the unit if you need a refresh!brbr5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. brbr6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. As of May 2022, all rental platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.brbr7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.brbr8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. There are makeup towels provided for this use.brbr9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.brbr10. Pets are NOT allowed at this listing.
