Market towns Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury with their museums and galleries are within easy bus reach, also Long Melford, Cavendish and Clare. With a car, you can explore more lovely villages such as Kersey, drive to the Stour Valley Path for a walk, visit Constable Country, or spend a seaside day at Southwold, Aldeburgh or Frinton.brbrIn Lavenham itself, and all within 5 minutes’ walk, you can take a guided tour of the village, or visit the Guildhall, Little Hall and famous wool church.
