Head into the vibrant community of Biggar (5.5 miles) to explore the wide range of independent shops, dip into The Biggar Gallery and dine in one of several pubs, cafes and restaurants. Plan a hike up Tinto Hill, 12.5 miles away, with its splendid views out over the Clyde Valley. While away an afternoon at the 65-acre Dawyck Botanic Garden (5 miles), home to one of Scotland’s finest tree collections and featuring some of Britain’s oldest and tallest trees. The charming town of Peebles, 13.5 miles away on the banks of the River Tweed, is also worth visiting.brbrbrEnter via a short ramp up to the front door to find a delightful, open-plan space with a high-vaulted ceiling and beams.
