Admittedly we were lucky with the weather. The morning sun was reflecting off the blue sea as we enjoyed our breakfast out on the patio. But the cottage complemented the weather wonderfully. Stabal-Soch is a one story converted stable block, so no stairs to worry about. And perfect of course if you can persuade Grandma and Grandpa to come along too. Facing south over Abersoch Bay and the mountains of southern Snowdonia beyond, the cottage makes the most of its prime seaside location.brbrIt's a lovely conversion. Well thought out and professionally renovated. The welcoming open plan living area has comfortable seating off to the right and a kitchen diner to the left.brbrThere are two large leather sofas in the lounge facing onto a fireplace and modern tv. Some lovely paintings from a local artist adorn the walls and the high vaulted ceiling providing a wonderful sense of space and brightness.brbrThe kitchen diner is well equipped, as you'd expect in a 5 star property. Fridge, freezer dishwasher etc are all included. The washing machine is in a shared laundry room that separates this cottage from Sgubor-March, another holiday cottage next door.brbrThe bedrooms are equally fresh and airy. One double room has a specious en-suite. While a second double room and a third twin room share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. All the linen is immaculate and plenty of wardrobe space etc. Each bedroom faces south. The view from these windows each morning, will be our lasting reminder of this beautiful cottage.brbrA maximum of 1 dog is welcome at this property.

Situated on the southern coast of Pen Llŷn, on the outskirts of Abersoch, lies Gorwel Soch, a five star log cabin with sea views. Set in an elevated spot on a sloping hillside this luxurious cabin is perfectly positioned to make the most of its stunning surroundings. To the front and side of the cabin a spacious patio offers uninterrupted views of the open countryside, with Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd (Llanbedrog Headland) rising to the left, the St Tudwals islands straight ahead and the majestic mountains of Snowdonia beyond. As views go, this one is hard to beat.brbrJust a short walk from the cabin is one of the area's many glorious beaches, this long sandy beach stretches from Llanbedrog Headland at one end, right round to Abersoch's inner harbour at the other. When the tide is out you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the beach all the way into the centre of Abersoch (roughly 1.5 miles), alternatively the village is a 2 minute drive from the cabin, or roughly a 30 minute stroll along the roadside footpath.brbrInside the cabin is decorated in a fresh, coastal style with a twin bedroom, master bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a stylish bathroom with a full sized bath with overhead shower. The open plan living/ kitchen / diner has a fully fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, (very useful for those sandy beach towels!), a dining table to seat five, and a cosy living area designed to make the most of those special views.brbrThrow open the patio doors to enjoy indoor/outdoor living and make the most of the great outdoor space with a large dining table and double lounger seat which makes the perfect reading spot, or relax in the hot tub and enjoy a glass of fizz while you soak up the view.brbrThis 5 star log cabin with sea views offers the best of both worlds, a peaceful rural retreat yet within very easy reach of the buzzing village of Abersoch.brbrA maximum of 1 dog is welcome at this property.brbrPlease note - the cabin is accessed by 39 steps so is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Graded at the highest 5* rating by the welsh tourist board you can be confident that all the facilities you might need are included. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. But more importantly it's a lovely cottage in a fantastic location.brbrThe big kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen and overlooks fields of sheep including spring lambs when we visited in the spring. The sumptuous lounge next door is also spacious and has been furnished to a high standard with leather sofas and wood flooring. But best of all are the patio doors leading out onto the private patio area outside where you will find the bar-b-que and own private hot tub. The perfect location to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy sea views either in or out of the hot tub!.brbrThe bathroom has a powerful shower set over the bath. Two bedrooms. One family room with a double plus a single bed and one twin room. Like the rest of the cottage, the linen is spotlessly clean and crisp. Farm owners Helen and Wyn have obviously put a lot of thought into the conversion and take great care to ensure their guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.brbrA maximum of 1 dog is welcome at this property.
