There is a range of charming restaurants as well as shops and supermarkets within walking distance – it really is a delightful place to stay.brbrAdmire the lake vistas from viewpoints in the town or head down to the shores to appreciate its beauty (it’s a fairly hilly walk down through the woodland or via the town). The lake is perfect for summer swimming in its clear waters or try scuba-diving, sailing and canoeing. The city of Bracciano offers fine dining and shopping, as well as beautiful strolls up and down the old streets of the quaint little town of less than 20,000 people. The train station of Bracciano, which is a mere 5 minute drive from the house, connects to downtown Rome in just 50 minutes. Conveniently located 35 minutes from Rome Fiumicino airport, there is also similarly easy access to the ocean side beach life of Santa Severa and Santa Marinella.
