It is a beautiful beach and great for swimming but there are no lifeguards so all children must be accompanied. Same with the garden area as the main gate is never closed.brbrWe pride ourselves on getting 5 star reviews, and most everyone has said it was the most relaxing and fun stay they have ever had, which pleases us the most as we want people to share the magic of Carrig Cnoc.

This charming cottage is located 25m from the historic 14th century Northburgh Castle, in Greencastle, a traditional Irish fishing village. So come and enjoy life lived at the locals pace and bask in the glow of a traditional turf fire with a glass of Guiness by your side. This charming part of Ireland has everything to offer the tourist from modern spas to coastal walks.brbrThe cottage has 4 bedrooms,and can comfortably host two small families or one big one in it's 4 bedrooms. The large lounge with sea views, boasts an open fire and large LED LG television with freeview. The charming country style kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining table for 6 people.brbr All rooms have hard wooden floors with modern rugs, and the bathroom is fitted with a period style Victorian white suite and stand in shower.brbrAlthough all bills are included in the rates we charge, we expect you to use the heating and hot water respectfully any mis use may be deducted from your security deposit.brYou are responsible for disposing of all rubbish.The local shop sell vouchers at 6Euro , which enables you to have a large wheely bin sized rubbish sack collected by the local authority.brbrA meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.brbrEntry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 15 pounds for unsociable hours. Approximate 15 min walk / 2 min drive takes you to the Blue Flag Sweet Nelli's Beach and Inish Lighthouse, where you will find a beautiful sandy beach, a car park, as well as toilet facilities and life guards during summer months.brThe seaside villages of Greencastle and Moville offer nice cafes, restaurants and genuine Irish pubs, live music and summer festivals. Also a friendly local pub is a 5 min walk away from the cottage (opens occascionally), brGreencastle Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole links course, visible from the house and only a 5 minute drive away. From the house you can join the stunning Inishowen Head loop walk (8km, moderate hike) or from Greencastle join a beautiful shore walk to Moville (2km, easy walk). Moville also offers sea kayaking, canoeing and adventure activities.brIn the summer you can use the car ferry services to takes you from Greencastle to the scenic coast of Northern Ireland, Giant Causeway and The Bushmills Distillery are approximately 1.5 hour car journey. The Historic City of Derry is approximate 30 minute drive away.brThere is plenty of space for parking around the house and seats are availble in the garden for you to enjoy the peacful views.
