This spacious contemporary penthouse condo with a vaulted ceiling in the living room is bright, clean, sunny and cheerful with gorgeous ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and the large private balcony. You can relax while overlooking the promenade, the dunes and the wide stretch of beach and ocean. While drinking our coffee in the morning, we watch the playful dolphins below as the sun rises over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. This year we saw a humpback whale in the ocean right in front of our building.brbrWe have two renovated bathrooms. We have made many purchases which include two sofas in the living room, one is a queen sleeper. brThe bed in the master bedroom is a Wyndham Simmons king-size pillow-top mattress. The dining room has a contemporary table with 8 chairs, measuring 72” with the leaf in, enough for 8 people to eat meals together if they wish. brbrWe have an oven with an above-range microwave, both in stainless steel. brWe have contemporary shutters in the primary bedroom windows which almost cover the entire east wall. When opened there is no obstruction of the magnificent ocean views. The ocean sounds will lull you to sleep at night.brbrWe have porcelain tile flooring throughout the living room, dining room, kitchen, both bathrooms and the hallway. Carpets cover the bedroom floors. We recently renovated the living room, dining room and kitchen. We knocked out a few walls in the kitchen to provide a more open feel with greater views of the ocean, beach and dunes. We replaced the floors with porcelain tile and kept the carpets in the bedrooms. We added new cabinets and quartz countertops in the kitchen. We also have replaced the balcony doors and floor-to-ceiling windows.brbrThe living room and both bedrooms all have flat screen wall-mounted TVs. There is a DVD player in the living room and free WIFI throughout. This condo comes with a covered reserved parking space under the building and one additional parking space is available in the lot if more than 2 guest passes are purchased. Bike racks are located under the building so you can bring your bike or rent one in town.brbrThis condo sleeps 8 in beds; there is a king bed in the primary bedroom and two queens in the second bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. We have blackout window treatments in the living room.brbrWe love the wide stretch of private beach for Sea Colony guests only. There are lifeguards on the beach in the summer . Beach chairs and toys are available in the locker in the garage on the main floor or for rent on the beach or you can bring your own. It is much less crowded than the beach in town, and much much less crowded than Rehoboth or Ocean City beaches.brbrSea Colony has 24-hour security. A vacation in Sea Colony can run the gamut from beach fun to tax-free shopping to golfing, tennis and water sports. The privacy of the 'quiet resort' allows guests to sunbathe and enjoy the soothing ocean breezes in peace. Amusement parks and outlet shopping centers are not far and they provide more variety of family-friendly fun.brbrThis world-class resort tennis facility offers an astounding 34 courts along with tennis clinics, camps and lessons by teaching professionals. Golf courses nearby include two dozen courses featuring waterfront and forest layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. Sea Colony also organizes weekly events such as bingo, camp fires on the beach and other fun family activities.brbrThe town of Bethany is only 1/2 mile north of Sea Colony, an easy walk to the boardwalk, restaurants, bookstore, and many other specialty shops. The library in town allows summer vacationers to get a card and use their services which include a nice variety of DVDs and books. We enjoy many of the fine restaurants in Bethany and Oceanview, and if you want to go a bit further, Fenwick, Rehoboth and Ocean City have even more options. brbrGuest passes, which are purchased at Marketplace at check-in, are required for all unit renters 4 years old or older. They are to be kept on your person while in the resort. They allow you to use all amenities and to park your car/s. If you purchase more than two guest passes, you can receive two parking passes, one is a reserved space under the building and the second is an unreserved spot in the larger outside lot. There are 4 master bedrooms, each with 4 king size beds. Two more bedrooms have sets of twins and one bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. Each bedroom will have a new smart TVs and cable hook-up. There is parking for 5 cars, 3 off-street and 2 Bethany Beach street parking permits. The house is also equipped with wireless internet. Owner will provide sheets & bath towels for full week rentals that check in from May 29, 2026 to August 28, 2026. Beach towels are NOT provided. Linens may be rented during the remainder of year.
