The is a private cottage on a quiet lane, overlooking the sea in West Cork. Relax in the child-friendly garden, on the patio or eat your meal from locally produced artisan foods. A stream gurgles at the end of the garden, which is 3/4 of an acre of private space. Table and chairs for outdoor eating or admiring the view of the sea.brThe house sleeps 6 people with a master bedroom and en-suite upstairs with 2 bedrooms and main bathroom on the ground floor. Children are welcome and we provide a travel cot for small children as well as other equipment, if booked in advance. brThe open plan kitchen living room opens onto the patio, which gives an uninterrupted view of Dunmanus Bay and the setting sun. The living room has a wide range of books on the area, TV, Music System and Wifi. The kitchen is equipped for an expert cook and meals can be eaten on the patio or in the kitchen. A playroom for children with some toys is off the main living area. This has a desk, doors for privacy and been used as an office in recent times, as the Wifi base is in this room. brThe house is 2 minutes drive to the village of Durrus with Bantry, Schull and Ballydehob taking 10 minutes to drive on country lanes. The house is on the Sheep's Head Way walking route and has lots of outdoor activities. The Wild Atlantic Way route is below the house on the way to Mizen Head.
