4BR Large Historic Hidden Gem in Norwich with Pool

The E.A. Huntington home, built in 1717 in historic Beanhill, Norwichtown, with its stone walls, warmly welcomes visitors to 4,100 sq ft of airy space. Set on 3.5 acres of land, this property provides privacy while leaving room for plenty of activities, including an in-ground covered pool, a basketball hoop, soccer, and exploring the land. 4BR w/2.5 baths, can be combined with 2BR cottage rental. The pool is shared between the two listings.brThe property is less than a 5-minute walk to the Marriott hotel, an 8-minute drive to Mohegan Sun. A 30-minute drive to Mystic, CT, and about a 40-minute drive to Misquamicut beach in Rhode Island. The drive to Newport, RI is about an hour.brbrThis is the perfect place for a family gathering with plenty of bedrooms and yard space. The main house can be rented in combination with the small 2BR cottage to provide even more accommodations. brbrThe covered in-ground pool is not heated. The pool is open end of May through the end of September, with the season opening and closing being weather-dependent. The pool area will heat up with the sun, but only so much on cooler days. brbrThere is a small gym with a treadmill, rowing machine, weights, and stretch band. Adjacent to that you will find the enclosed back porch with a ping pong table.brbrYou will find plenty of yard space to enjoy nature, play sports, and bird watching. There is also a little pond and a little trail.brbrThe property is overall very quiet because it is set back from the street, providing plenty of privacy. However, with the I-395 passing close by, you will have some traffic noise. brbrThe best way to get around is by car. We provide parking for 4 cars. There is a ride & share lot less than a 4-minute drive by the exit/entrance to the I-395brbrBaby gates, high chair and pack-n-play are available upon request.brbrThere is a cottage on the same property (separate listing). Look for Spacious 2BR Norwich Cottage.brbrDOGS: We allow our guests to bring their dog(s) as long as they are fixed and house-trained, and friendly. This is out of courtesy for other guests who might be renting the cottage. Guests are responsible for any damage dogs may cause, and urine stains inside the house will require an extra cleaning fee of $150. All dogs must be leashed while on the property! We do not allow cats.brbrThis is a strictly non-smoking property. A cleaning fee of $250 will apply if guests smoke inside the house.brbrThe bedroom are located on the second floor.brbrNo parties in the sense of inviting guests beyond the ones that you booked the home for.
