The estate features dramatically open living spaces with spectacular views of the living sea. The Casa has abundant activities and private relaxation all combined at one truly beautiful and un-touched location. Located in the heart of the quiet seaside village, El Cardonal, the next big little town (Los Barriles) is about a 20 minute drive. brbrCasa Rodriguez offers an accommodating concierge and English speaking staff.brbr-Samuel is our english speaking concierge who will meet you upon arrival and welcome you to Casa Rodriguez.br-Vicente is our onsite caretaker and boat captain. He is also a local legend. We love to go fishing or eco-touring with him! Full day is $400 per boat, half day is $300 per boat, per day for a day of fishing. br-Lupita, Vicente's daughter, provides the Casa's daily maid service and daily dish washing.br- Our recommended van service is operated by Homar. He provides van service for up to ten people and baggage to/from the airport for a very competitive rate of $300 round trip. He also can take you on a variety of excursions throughout the East Cape area. br- We have a variety of local authentic catering recommendations. All of them can be arranged through our concierge, Samuel. Authentic Mexican breakfast, lunch and traditional dinners, as well as “lunch boxes” for a day out at sea are available. The cost is approximately $16-18 per person, per meal including the cost of food. We do not allow local chefs to prepare food in our home. All food must be prepared and cooked at restaurant and brought to Casa Rodriguez for serving. Mariachi entertainment can also be arranged upon request. brbrThe Casa provides tons of toys and games for indoor and outdoor adult/children play. We also have paddle boards, kayaks, beach toys/games, masks, snorkels and fins in a variety of sizes. The water is often calm, even safe for children and there is often abundant sea life. Chase whales in the Spring. There is a living reef a short walk down the beach where the snorkeling is excellent. We have kayaked amongst thousands of manta rays.

This adorable 3-bedroom, 2-bath beachfront casa is on one of the nicest sand beaches in all of the East Cape. Snorkel, kayak, fish and relax right out front, or lie with a beverage by the heated pool. Think privacy, peace, elbow-room, tranquility and immediate access to the two main reasons you are coming here - the Sea of Cortez and the beach! Oh yeah, and the heated pool!brbrCasa Ventanas del Mar is located on the edge of the quaint town of El Cardonal, about 30 minutes north of Los Barriles. El Cardonal boasts three very good restaurants, a few small markets, one charming sports bar that serves great drinks and pizza, and one small locally owned hotel. Other than that, it's sand and crystal blue water! brbrThe house is located on the southern end of a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. With nearly 200 feet of beach frontage and a kilometer long undeveloped arroyo to our south, you will have a lot of space and privacy all to yourselves! Watch for whales in the winter and spring, dolphins and jumping manta rays year round! The large heated pool has a big patio surrounding it for relaxing, reading a book, enjoying a cocktail or staring at the ocean. Or if you are a swimmer, you can swim laps in the 40 meter long pool. brbrCasa Ventanas del Mar offers ample space for 1-2 families or 2-3 couples to enjoy. The master bedroom boasts unbelievable views of the beach and Sea of Cortez. It features a queen bed and en suite bathroom with shower. The second queen bedroom opens up to the pool and patio area and features a queen bed and direct access to the shared 2nd bathroom and the interior courtyard. The third bedroom is also accessed from the internal courtyard and features a set of queen bunk beds. brbrCasa Ventanas del Mar has a beautiful kitchen and living area with endless views of the beach, pool and ocean. The living area features a 14' palapa ceiling and opens up to the expansive outdoor patio and pool area. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably with additional seating available at the kitchen's bar top. The pool area features Las Ventanas del Mar - windows to the ocean. While most properties charge a substantial upcharge, we only charge you for your actual propane usage. This allows you to chose the temperature you would like us to set the thermostat at. The cost varies substantially based on time of year, ambient temperature, wind conditions, the temperature you would like the pool to be set and the diligence in which you keep the pool covered when not in use. It could run between $10-$75 per day once you achieve your desired temperature. We do require a heating deposit equal to $150 for the first night and $75 for each additional night of your reservation. This would typically be marginally above what it would cost to heat the pool to the high 80s during our winter windy season. We return any unused portion of the deposit after you check out. brbrbrbr
