When you arrive at Evergreen Estate you will find a beautifully manicured country house and cottage. The seperate cottage or guest house will be your home away from home with all the creature comforts.brFully established English gardens. The main house was established as a shearing quarters in 1922, the cottage was constructed in early 2000.brRecently almost fully refurbished the cottage contains two bedrooms, one slightly more generous than the other, lovely indoor outdoor sheltered patio, a very functional kitchen, dining and lounge area. brWith a stunning outlook into the Muriwai Valley, and most likely a friendly equine.brYour accomodation has all the luxuries of home, a full size kitchen with everything required to enjoy your stay. The host enjoys cooking and has put items into the kitchen that she would use to prepare food in her own home. brList of items: Enjoy a bbq while seated on a comfortable outdoor furniture on a large covered patio - brThe handy Nespresso machine and selection of pods to start your day, or tea/ hot chocolate and sweet treat. brJug, toaster, beater, blender, air fryer, air conditioning/heating, microwave.brA selection of complimentary cold drinks in the fridge, dishwasher, full sized Fridge/freezer, a selection of condiments, cooking oil and herbs and spices. brIf it’s raining snuggle up and watch a good movie. Or there are board games available to play - the iconic noughts and crosses, monopoly, cards.brThere is a queen sized bed configuration in each bedroom, one room is slightly smaller but still comfortable, the larger room has a larger storage space. brExtra blankets, a fan, wall mounted heaters, electric blankets available, plus extra blankets and pillows on request. brThere are outdoor games in the hall cupboard, picnic basket and beach towels.brThe bathroom is compact but very functional with large extractor fan, and heat lamps. brThere is covered parking for 2 cars and a third parking bay. brThe cottage is also fully compliant for Nz Healthy Home Standards.brbrLocal activities include:brbrNature and wildlife:brMuriwai Gannet Colony: View the spectacular gannet colony, especially from October to February.brCoastal walks: Take short walks to scenic lookouts, including the one overlooking the gannet colony. We are easily located 10 minutes from Waimauku turn off as you to Muriwai Beach - follow till you get to Muriwai Valley Road then take the first left at the intersection and we are 500meters up on the left on Cable Road.
