Next door to Conil you have the beaches of El Palmer, a surfers’ paradise! Further south, Tarifa is the home of the windsurfers (lessons can be arranged!) and is about 2 hours’ drive from Olvera. Other nice beaches are found at Rota and the surrounding area. Picnics can be pre-booked.brGolf is within 45 mins of Olvera on good, easy access roads. Antequera and Arcos de la Frontera are both within easy reach and very popular with the locals. You also have the Costa del Sol golf courses in under an hour and a half.brCar hire is recommended, although if you don’t want to drive airport transfers can be arranged. Many activities are possible nearby, the Via Verde de la Sierra offers many hiking, horse riding, cycling ... From paragliding to Algodonales etc ...brbrOur house offers all the facilities of the city and the advantages of a small village. Within a hundred meters there are supermarkets, greengrocers, pastry shops, pharmacy, bars etc. and, rare pearl in the city, a swimming pool of 3 X 4 m to refresh you during the hot Andalusian days. Calle Peñón is a street where you can stop but not park, which guarantees calm and tranquility. Only the baker and the garbagemen go every day.
