Casa Cal y Sol is located in the historical part of the city, a stone's throw from a twelfth-century Arab castle and neoclassical church that are emblematic of the city. Our house is ideally located on the route of the white villages, 1H15 from Seville, Malaga and beaches, as well as the major centers of historical and cultural interest that are in Andalusia. Many activities are possible nearby, the Via Verde de la Sierra offers many hiking, horse riding, cycling ... From paragliding to Algodonales etc ...

Our house offers all the facilities of the city and the advantages of a small village. Within a hundred meters there are supermarkets, greengrocers, pastry shops, pharmacy, bars etc. and, rare pearl in the city, a swimming pool of 3 X 4 m to refresh you during the hot Andalusian days. Calle Peñón is a street where you can stop but not park, which guarantees calm and tranquility. Only the baker and the garbagemen go every day. There is nevertheless the possibility of parking nearby.

Our favorite bar is the Juanito Gómez less than five minutes walk away and the Komo Komo from Paqui, a small supermarket where you will find the best croquetas and other delicacies of Olvera.

We fell in love with this charming white village ten years ago and decided to settle down there. In the meantime, we want to share our passion for Andalusia and Olvera, a cultural heritage village. Not living on the spot right now, you will be greeted by Victoria who will give you all the information you need.

    The photos don't do the property justice. It has everything you could possibly want. The views from the terrace were amazing and the pool was a very welcome addition. Valerie and Michel were great hosts, available if needed but left you alone if not. The BBQ was very good and used often. Would highly recommend this property.

    I have to say the property was very clean and in the centre of Olvera old town with amazing views from the terrace. Well equipped property and the owners and Victoria were easy to deal with. If we return to Olvera we would certainly book here again

    It was absolutely fantastic to stay in this villa! The roof top pool in the centre of town was exquisite as was the even higher roof top patio for watching the sun set behind the mountains. The drive from Seville through the mountains was breathtaking. The town of Olvera is quiet with few tourists. The local shop owners are always very happy to see you and will work easily with you to breakdown the language barrier if one doesn’t speak fluent Spanish! The wives just loved to having the baker drop by at 11 am every morning with fresh bread for the day! Shopping for meals everyday in the local shops was fun! Victoria was wonderful in greeting us on the day of arrival. Best Regards - we will be back in the near future!
