The apartment is well maintained and nicely decorated in a cozy rustic style. From the living room and the terrace you can enjoy the magnificent views of the sea and the surroundings. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a south facing terrace. In the garden of the complex is a large swimming pool, and there is in the closed communal parking area. The holiday apartment is situated on the 7th floor (with elevator) of the apartment building Torrealmadena in Benalmadena Costa. Within walking distance in the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find a variety of national and international restaurants, shops, two supermarkets and a bus stop. The beautiful sandy beach is just 200 meters from the apartment. On the beach there are several beach restaurants where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. At 30 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car or bus, you get into the wonderful marina of Benalmadena. Along the harbor there are numerous shops, restaurants and terraces. Here you can also organize a variety of water sports and boat trips. In the evening you can enjoy the night life of Benalmadena in one of the many discos around the harbor until the late hours. Also just 10 minutes walk from the apartment you will find the SELWO SEA LIVE PARK This is the only park of its kind in Andalusia. The Ideally located Puerto Marina, just a short stroll away, provide easy access to a large variety of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and nightlife! The apartment itself has been recently refreshed and redecorated. It is fully equipped and has a south west facing terrace providing spectacular sea views and afternoon sun. The master bedroom is self contained and there is a sofa bed also in the living room. The kitchen and bathroom are both off of the hall. The block itself has no pool, but access is provided to the pool in the neighbouring building. Guests can also count on a 24h reception. The beach and Puerto Marina are a very short walk away. The local vicinity offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment to make for an unforgettable holiday by the sea. Everything is accessible by foot. For guests looking for something different, you can also visit the SEALIFE aquarium, or take a boat trip. The 'Carihuela' (former fisherman's neighbourhood, which is now home to is a great selection of fish restaurants and bars. The area is well served by supermarkets open all day and an informative tourist office. There is a local police station on hand for help and advice. Parking is available nearby and charges are 1 Euro per hour. There is a taxi rank and bus stop 100 metres from the apartment. The nearby train stations (Arroyo de la Miel - Benalmadena) is 2.5KM (1.5Miles) away and 28 mins on foot. The Pinillo train station is 1 KM (0.6 Miles away). The train operates a regular and frequent service along the coast all the way to Fuengirola and stops at Malaga Airport (11Km/6.7 Miles) and Malaga centre (17Km/10 Miles ) (the train station is called Malaga - Maria Zambrano), as well other local points of interest. A taxi to/from Malaga or Malaga Airport will cost around 20-23 Euros, traffic dependant but the train service is excellent, reliable, very cost effective and environmentally friendly. Taxis are readily available as this is an area popular with visitors. Malaga is well worth a day trip. It is a city rich with history, culture and a great culinary tradition. It offers a great selection of shops and restaurants and a fabulous food market where you can have a beer and tapas at one of the local stalls and buy some quality produce to take home. Malaga has an impressive selection of first rate museums - Picasso, Pompidou, Ruso, Tile Museum as well as the Centre for Contemporary Art. Malaga Port is an ideal spot to stroll, people watch and enjoy a drink and some food. Alternatively, you can pass the time by wondering round the old part of town, taking in the shops and the atmosphere. In the apartment, you will find details of all local bus and train services.
