Beautiful home. Loved the backyard pool and hot tub. The gas fireplace was great too since we had some unusual chilly weather. This was wonderful family time away. We played games each night and had lots of laughs. Appreciated the toys for the kids and the crib. Definitely be sure to turn the alarm on as soon as you arrive for the back door to the pool. Hosts were quick to respond to communication which I appreciated.

Hosts were fabulous. The property was quintessential Texas Hill Country. Kitchen has everything we needed--pots, pans, utensils--better than other places I've stayed. The hot tub and pool were perfect. They provided fire for the fire pit. And we had a all-family corn hole tournament. It was a great place for our big family to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday.

Fancy Like was the perfect stay for our group. We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner in the beautiful outdoor space which was a huge hit. Valarie was a wonderful host. She communicated often, provided suggestions for local vendors, and ensured our experience was everything we hoped it would be. The beds were very comfy, the RO water and commercial ice maker were awesome, and the game room was used all the time. Fancy Like has everything you could want.

This amazing property made for the perfect vacation for my family of 8. The home was well stocked with everything we needed, spacious and absolutely beautiful. We spent countless hours in the game room and floating in incredible pool. The backyard was enclosed and perfect for my dogs. Not to mention the stunning landscape. The front yard was incredible with deer watching all day long. The hosts were very responsive when we had a question and went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely wonderful. 10/10!!!

So wonderful! Everything was taken care of and the owners gave us any and all info about the house and the area! If you have kids or love animals, bring a bag (or more) of deer corn! The deer will come up right to your door for it! We watched them for hours!

Honestly? 5 stars doesn’t come close to describing this AMAZING place! From receiving our booking confirmation to checking out, my whole family agrees that THIS was hands-down the best experience we’ve had!Our group was made up of 9 adults, 6 kids ranging from 10 mos - 18 y/o and 2 pups.Let’s start with the grounds - OMG!! The drive-up from the secured entry is simply breathtaking. We had all forgotten the stunning beauty in mature, well-cared for grounds - this place quickly reminded up, and don’t overlook the deer as you come and go..so coolMoving to the backyard/pool area…..THIS is where we stayed for most of our trip. We had so many plans to hit different places in town, but we didn’t make it happen, because the pool was so much fun!! I wish I had known how much fun a pool with a max depth of 5’ was before putting in my own pool! This made pool volleyball and water polo so much more fun for the adults and the kids!!Inside was no less impressive. We loved that it was single story! We had 3 seniors in our group, so the single story ensured easy access to all areas of the home. You might want to think twice about bringing any pots, pans, seasonings, coffee maker (traditional and keurig), coffee pods, trash bags, dish soap, filtered water, ice maker, shampoo, conditioner, body wash……because it was ALL provided!!! And I don’t mean the cheap stuff, everything was either name-brand or high end items.Thank you so much for helping us build incredible family memories

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Everything you can possibly think of is provided. Wonderful communication with hosts. Beautiful setting and convenient to everything. Great pool and spa. Comfortable beds. Excellent!

Had a great time with family enjoying the house and hill country. We spent some time in Wimberley and Gruene as well as Canyon Lake. Very comfortable stay with all the amenities. Jonathan and Valerie thought of everything and were very responsive. They provided tons of info about the area and house making planning our trip and packing really efficient. Five plus stars.

Property is superbly taken care! Nice fresh maintain grass, trimmed tree, Tx style themed and well lit, hidden in an oasis. House fit all 15 of us and room to spare for our fun tubing trip on the Comal River! Host kept updates on the river flow and exemplary response time with all questions we had on property and area. Might make a tradition!

The house and grounds were amazing. The children were allowed to roam freely without supervision. The kitchen was well stocked with pot,pans,dishes and glassware even pool safe glasses. I especially loved the cabnet labeling which made it easier to put away dishes. Everyone enjoyed their rooms. The 4 bed area could have used more natural light. It was the best house we ever rented and this was our 11th house. Loved it.

The hosts and the property are the very best! We very much enjoyed our first the pool, waterfall, hot tub, and the most relaxing patio area. The inside of the house was immaculate and fully equipped for all of your dining and daily living needs. We love animals and getting to see the birth of a fawn was totally unexpected but so much enjoyed. We got to see the fawn and mom every day after plus all of the other deer and a few foxes. The entertainment systems inside and out were top of the shelf!

Amazing! Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! Every detail has been thought about to make this the most comfortable easy place for families to enjoy!! So many little extras that are included, from all the kitchen spices to the sunblock & towels for the pool!!We even had some sweet visitors every day greeting us, fox, deer and baby deer! They checked on us all day every day!! The beds were so comfortable after a day in the pool. We had some great shuttleboard tournaments with the family!! Best place ever when visiting New Braunfels!! The host are so welcoming and quick to reply on any questions! Thank you!!

This beautiful home was everything we could have imagined for our family vacation! We felt as though we were staying at our own private resort! The property was immaculately kept and everything was so clean! The home was designed perfectly to accommodate our individual families! Our grown children and young grandchildren especially loved the pool and game room! There were so many extra amenities that you usually don’t find in a vacation rental! The hosts, Valerie & Jonathan, were so friendly and only a text away if we had any questions!! We will definitely be coming back next year!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to prepare for our daughter’s wedding and enjoy family time in this beautiful Canyon Lake Home. It was very clean and equipped with everything you need to make your stay worry free. There was something for everyone! ( hot tub, pool, game room, toys for the kids, beautiful views, etc. The hosts were attentive with informative messages, and check in and check out were very easy! Wonderful, beautiful vacation home.

This is such a great property! It's big, but private, with a wonderful heated pool and hot tub. Lots of room to be with people - or have time alone. Lots of comfy beds for everyone. Well maintained, with lots of amenities run by Jonathan and Valerie, who are accessible and really want their guests to be happy. This is our second visit here, and we will come again!

We had a family reunion/80th birthday in this amazing home. 14 adults stayed in the home, and another 12 joined us for a birthday party one evening. The spectacular outdoor space was perfect for our event. The hosts are attentive and provide lots of helpful information. The house is well equipped and comfortably furnished. The deer and the fox visited us each morning and evening. Despite the listing stating 5 bathrooms, be aware that one is a half bath, and one is an outdoor bathroom. We did not mind, as the weather was perfect for using the outdoor bathroom.

Our family had a great time at fancy like. The property was beautiful and very well. Kept the gazebo area and pool area were exemplary. The house was also very clean and plenty of room for family. The hosts were . I would recommend this place to anybody wishing to have an event for a family or even just a vacation for family because the pool area was awesome thank you Jon and Valerie.!

This was our adult children and three kids. Best place we’ve ever stayed!! The grandkids wanted to move here to live. Perfect hosts! Everything you would need plus. Other vrbo hosts should stay here as an example of to do the house perfectly!

My family had a wonderful time. The are was so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Ample outdoor and indoor facilities. We had 16 family members, originally 18 but 2 last minute unavoidable cancellations. There were plenty beds for all original 18 family members. The amenities in the entire property were well thought out and provided. We highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed a wonderful reunion in this beautiful space. It was very well appointed for those of us from out of town and there was plenty of entertaining space for in-town guests visiting old friends.

Our family of 7 (adults and older teens) have just returned from a week here and would highly recommend to others. The grounds are huge and we saw the deer on a daily basis. There are plenty of different areas to sit and relax, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool (which is bigger than it appears on the photos). Indoors there is plenty of space with 2 lounges, a dining area and large kitchen. The shuffleboard, football table and corn hole also kept us entertained with family competitions. The house is very well appointed with everything you could need, and a lot of basic provisions were provided (dishwasher tablets, etc). Less than a mile away is a good sized supermarket, food outlets (recommend Bare Bull BBQ), and about 25 mins away is New Braunfels town with loads more restaurants, and where we had a great time tubing on the Comal river. The communications from the owners was great and they provided lots of information ahead of our stay on local activities and dining recommendations. This is definitely one of the best VRBO properties we've ever stayed at, and if ever back in the area wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our family of 11 (adults & children) had an outstanding stay at Fancy Like with above bar communication with hosts Jonathan and Valarie who are dedicated to proving their guests with an excellent experience. Sprawling private off-street property with deer (which our kids loved), very clean home, a kitchen with everything you can need, two refrigerators/freezers (kitchen & laundry room), and a laundry room/playroom combination which provided the kids with lots of entertainment. Everyone loved the shuffleboard, air hockey and foosball tables. The backyard is so beautiful & private. We all loved the pool, hot tub, & waterfall. Jonathan & Valarie are amazing hosts providing lots of information about the area, restaurants, & places to go with the kids. We rented a pontoon boat with slide & captain with their recommended company & loved it. We even had s'mores one night in the outdoor firepit. Stocked up on groceries at HEB in New Braunfels, and then used the local Lowe's Market (less selection/higher prices) for items needed during our week's stay. It was handy having a CVS close by. We discovered the restaurant Mavens our first day for lunch (day before the family arrived), returned that night for dinner and to listen to a band and had some of their amazing lemon meringue cheesecake. Loved it so much we took the whole family back the following Friday night to enjoy an outdoor experience of good food, music, with space for the kids to run around. Highly recommend Fancy Like!!

Such an amazing experience. Beautiful well kept home, amazing views & clean pool with hot tub! 10/10 recommend the stay at this home! Host were fast responding anytime I had a question! Would def stay here again.
