Wonderful country villa near Siena

Beautiful location with fantastic swimming pool.very peaceful but close to Pienza and Montepulciano. Lack of air conditioning was only downside as was around 38 degrees throughout our stay. Elisabetta was away but responded quickly to

This was the perfect location to stay after a couple of weeks of touring in the tourist congested locations. The villa was clean and quiet but close to Trequanda and Sinalunga. Our host was very responsive to our questions and requests.

We (family of 4) enjoyed our stay of three weeks in the house near Trequanda village. The house is on the premises with the main house of the owner Elisabetta (and her 2 dogs who stay near the main house). It is remote and very quite (we like that). To get there you have to drive a private gravel acces road of 0,5 km. The living room and the three bedrooms are spacious, there is one large and one small bathroom. The kitchen is rather small. The pool is very large and has a magnificent view. Early in the morning and in the evening you cans see the deer in the garden or meadows near the forest land. The location is very suitable for trips in this part of Tuscany, like Val dOrcia, Le Crete, Siena, Arezza and lesser known beautiful places as eg Asciano (beautiful museum) fo example. Elisabetta is always helpfull and reacts almost immediately if something is the matter (like the powercut after a summer storm). If you like a quite environment to enjoy Tuscany we recommend this place.

The house had everything we needed and Elizabetta was both welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable and there were lovely spaces to sit and relax both inside and out and enough room to be together too. The pool is beautiful, large and exceptionally clean. We spent most of our time swimming and lazing in the sunshine. The local area is very beautiful with interesting and towns within easy reach and some of the best food we have encountered. Very much hope we will return!
