Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic Location easy to find and get there. The staff are the most caring and Loving people made me feel family. Surroundings are beautful and relaxing most important private. The accommodation spacious and so close to the beach a bid tick in my books. Thanks Whispering Palms

Stayed Sep 5, 2019Marcello and Tina's property is a piece of paradise. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Marcello sent plenty of valuable information, tips and tricks about navigating Vanuatu (great for us first time visitors), and offered to arrange for transfers. Getting to the house was very simple and we're so glad we bought groceries before heading to Whispering Palms' side of the island (another pro tip: there aren't many ATMs--even fewer that work--outside of Port Vila, so get your cash before leaving PV!). The property is just gorgeous, the house had everything we could have wanted. We especially appreciated the thorough book Marcello and Tina prepared offering contacts, activities, and more advice on how best to enjoy our time there. The caretakers of the property, Silvi and John were just lovely people and so very helpful. Then there's the beach and its water. The reef right out front offered some of the most beautiful snorkeling we've ever done. The quiet is incredible, you're almost all alone out there, in our own piece of tropical paradise. One thing to note is the internet, as noted in the listing is pretty spotty. So just prepare for that in advance, or consider getting a local SIM card. Stayed Aug 2, 2019We enjoyed our stay despite the unusually bad weather with high winds blowing straight onto the beach for most of the stay. When we finally got to explore the coral it was amazing. We also saw turtles poking their heads up. The compendium could do with a bit of updating, we were especially confused by the map indicating that the Numbatu supermarket was close to the airport when it was the other side of port Vila! Perhaps because we couldn't swim because of the weather, we were sitting around a lot and it would have been really nice to have a couple of sun loungers to relax in. Francesca's became our second home, a lovely place.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We absolutely loved our stay at Whispering Palms. The host was perfect and provided us with a compendium before arrival with all the information we needed. Next to that they were very helpful with answering all our questions. The housekeepers John and Sylvie welcomed us warmly and the house was clean and tidy. The house is basic but it has everything you need (even WiFi if you can not life without it ;)). It is a great place to wind down from the city life and come to relaxation. We loved the beach which was right in front of the house and it was very secluded. We only saw the kids from the village next door ones and they are so joyful and a bless to have around. We would love to come here again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had the most marvellous times at Whispering Palms! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and were joyously welcomed by Silvi & John. We snorkelled most mornings straight out the front and one day were even lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins swim right up to us! The compendium that Marcello provided was amazing and had a lot of personalised suggestions for our day trips but in the end we enjoyed just being at home at Whispering Palms more than anything else. The home is comfortable and had everything we could ever need and is a perfect 40 minutes from town making it easy to get a taxi or bus in, but far enough out that you are in paradise and away from the tourist spots at night. I would absolutely love to return again!!
