Welcome to Masseria Quadrelli: an oasis of elegance in the heart of Salento

Masseria Quadrelli hosted my party of about 30 people for our Italian wedding. Our first impression of the property was truly jaw dropping. Every corner is so magical and dreamy. Ramona, Paola, and Georgia helped us to coordinate our itinerary for 5 days including meals, the wedding, and excursions. I wish I could explain in detail the spectacular service this team provided. Everything was flawless and our wildest dreams could not have imagined what we experienced this week. The wedding day was one that everyone in our wedding party will cherish forever. Between a live violinist that got everyone dancing, a singer that should be in stadium arenas and had everyone in tears, and a firework show timed flawlessly with the theme song of the wedding. This place is truly what dreams are made of. You will NOT regret it.

It was magnificent! absolutely beautiful!Rooms were so spacious and accommodating, kitchen was big and comfortable to cook in. Pool is amazing. Someone was there to clean the yard and clear the garbage every day. Once a week we got our rooms cleaned. The host was super nice and all the staff was very helpful. This was one of five annual vacations that we have been taking with our extended family and by far it was the best one. we didn't want to leave the house!

To summarize, this place is ‘tired’. The pictures don’t reflect the state of the place. The cushions are all filthy on the outside furniture, and for the I would have expected at least a roll of papertowels and a booklet with information about the house and the surrounding area. We received nothing. Our contact was was responsive to inquiries, and issues we raised (leaking dishwasher) were addressed. The foliage also could have used some attention. This place cld be awesome…but it really needs a tune up.

Our stay at Masseria Quadrelli exceeded all of our expectations! I tear up writing this review just thinking about how magical and memorable it was. We booked this villa for 19 people and had a small wedding with our closest friends. Paola and her staff went above and beyond to make our day special. They referred us to a DJ and vintage rental car service and helped coordinate the bookings. We had a casual pizza dinner the first night we arrived and a full appetizer buffet/plated dinner on the wedding day. They even decorated the table on the first night for our pizza a party! The food was so good and the best part was they left the leftovers for us to munch on the next day so we had endless food during our stay! They also made a delicious Italian cake and gave us sparklers for the cake cutting. Prior to us traveling, they were highly organized and communicative, they even provided a full power point of the wedding day schedule. With out them, it wouldn’t have been as organized. I trusted their recommendations for food and was pleased that I got to request what my flower bouquet looked like (and what they made was so beautiful!!). We spent 4 nights so everyone would have enough time to settle in and relax. The space felt private and secluded. The surrounding area is beautiful and so affordable compared to other parts of Italy and Europe. I would 1000 times go back and recommend this stay for anyone whether it’s a wedding, family vacation, or small special event!

This is a stunning property. My wife and I had our wedding here at the beginning of June (dinner, celebrant, and decorations all arranged for us) and and it was like a fairy tale. There was 16 in total, 7 couples 2 singles, everyone had their own rooms and washrooms, all the rooms were fantastic. The pictures here do not lie, believe it or not the pictures do not do justice. We spent 6 nights and didnt want to leave. Property management was easily available at all times. If youre torn between another spot and this one, i have a hard time believing doubts the other is better. Its a little bit out of the way so you would want a car, although they arrange transport as well. There is supermarkets a short drive away as well. The kitchen was well equipped with a large gas range, 2 sinks, 2 ovens and 2 fridges as well as a frdige outdoors near the bar which is poolside. There was a dishwasher and laundry. I wont be able to type up a full proper review, there is so much at the property that deserves praise. Just trust me, this is the place. The difficulty i had was planning my way there so heres what i did. We flew to Rome and spent some time there and took a train to Lecce. The idea is to get to Lecce as its close to the property, once there the property management arranged a shuttle for us, it was really not a problem. There is also an airport in Brindisi which is quite close to Lecce, although our flights would have been more expensive. (Ive reached the review length limit)

We travelled from Canada with our families to Masseria Quadrelli for our wedding and it truly was one of the best experiences of our lives! Ramona, Georgia and the team made planning the wedding from abroad no issue at all. They are super organized and have their system down pat. The rooms were great, property grounds were STUNNING and the pool was amazing. The photos represented the property completely. Our wedding day poured rain,but it was no issue as Romona and Georgia were ready with alternative spaces for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. The food was incredible and we are still talking about it. The decor was everything I imagined and they even arrange your flowers. I cannot thank them enough for a fabulous time. Our wedding day was amazing and we will cherish the memories forever. We will totally come back for an anniversary trip!!

We hosted 19 people for a weekend that included our wedding and it went beautifully. The venue itself is perfect, big, clean, had great facilities for swimming, sunning, cooking. Great privacy between rooms. The outdoor space is actually probably being undersold by the listing there is a great bar with a draft beer system and fridge, sinks, etc. access to a pool level area in the bar. Enough covered space for meals, etc. it’s really a fantastic place for a wedding, family reunion, large group trip, etc. The communication with the hosts, both in the planning stages of our stay/wedding and once we were on a site was excellent and responses were prompt and clear. They handled everything for our wedding easily. All we had to do was make some choices from clearly laid out options and pay. Very low stress. Honestly can’t say enough great stuff about the venue itself, the layout, the staff etc. The only negative is that you need a rental car. Obviously we knew this going in but the towns nearly are not walkable, although they do have great amenities for groceries, restaurants etc. getting around in this area of Italy requires rental vehicles. The hosts were great about helping us find taxis and chartered vans to help people get to/from airports but for small trips into town or local beaches this would have been difficult. Overall 10/10 would recommend. It’s stunning and everything went according to plan.

You will have no doubt seen the photos of this stunning property and have been drawn in to take a closer look. Well, they do not come close to how spectacular it is to see in person. There is so much to do at the property but the pool gathered the most of our time. It is perfect for young families and adults (we had 7 adults, 4 teenagers, and 3 under-four-year-olds). The shallow end stretches out far into the pool so you do not need to be too stressed about the kiddies but there is a deep enough end to jump into and to swim around properly. We brought inflatables but there were a couple left over - so worth checking if there are some there already. We ordered pizzas to the villa most nights as it was quicker than cooking, but when we did cook there were ample utensils and utilities to use in the generous kitchen. There are so many glorious spots to eat, whether indoors or out but you can get a real family feel to the place. There was a beer pump we could pull ourselves which was incredible and the beer was fairly cheap. Communication via a WhatsApp group nearer the time was brilliant with people checking in on us regularly to sort trips, food, provide advice, and more. We had two kind and lovely members of staff who would help us and even taught our 3 & 4-year-olds to make homemade pasta from scratch. What a memory for the kids. I've run out of characters but I could keep going...you just won't regret it and we are definitely coming back!
