Villa with Pool in the Picturesque Salento Countryside

Very nice villa with a spacious garden and pool area. Had a great stay at this villa. Some unexpected loud music till approximately 23:30 from a nearby party location.

Fabulous property - comfortable rooms and bathrooms, lovely outside dining area under proper shade, beautiful pool with another proper shaded area with comfortable sofas, comfortable loungers for the pool - some with padded cushions, some with shaped bases - all really great! Lovely garden with flowers, we also enjoyed the roof terrace with shade and sofas watching sunset. The immediately surrounding countryside was olive groves and vineyards - further afield it’s pretty flat and less attractive. The beaches are beautiful although extremely busy- we enjoyed a swim and then decamped back to our lovely quiet pool.Beautiful towns to visit including Lecce, Castro, Ortranto, from where we took a boat out for a day to see some great beaches. All in all a fabulous holiday which our kids ( 24.18 & 18) loved.

This is a beautiful property in a peaceful area surrounded by oliv and orange trees on the Salento country side. Charming interior and lush garden. Nice pool area. Our favourite place in Italy!

It’s a beautiful property with tasteful interior design full of art and personal decorations. The location is peaceful with magnificent views on the roof terrace over the orange and olive tree fields, especially at sunset. Lots of fruit trees and Mediterranean flowers in the garden and a lovely outdoor seating area. Both next door villages Specchia and Ruffano are charming. Reasonable distance to both sandy and rocky beaches. This is a true favourite for a relaxing stay in Puglia!

I was very excited about our stay and a bit worried that the villa might not be as good as it looked, but it absolutely was. We had an amazing week. The indoor space is good. The outdoor space is incredible. The pool is lovely, and the roof terrace is just the nicest space to relax and enjoy. The villa is very clean and well equipped. Fabio, the caretaker, is reliable and helpful. Sergio, the owner, is approachable and welcoming (and has fluent English). The villa is within 35-40 minutes of Gallipoli, Otranto and Santa Maria de Leuca, to name a couple of places worth seeing. Shops are 5-10 minutes drive away in Specchia or Miggiano. Honestly, the loveliest place I have ever stayed in. The kids had an absolute ball (not easy with teenagers!) and we all could have stayed quite happily for another week or three.

More spectacular than advertised. Clean and comfortable, bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated inside. But the real paradise is outside. Sit by the terrific pool, up on the terrace or in the dining area - so hard to choose - amid the flowers, fruit trees and cacti. Good location for day trips or just to call. Four nights was not enough. We loved it!

The villa was everything and more than we expected for our week spent in Salento. The villa was our homely base to come back to after a morning or day spent exploring the area, The pool and other entertainment areas are just perfect and the air conditioned bedrooms and communal areas just as good. Sergio was very responsive and a pleasure to interact with throughout. Fabio the property manager was equally responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend if you are looking for a central base. Pro tip: Don't miss the delights of Specchia for the odd meal out.

We have spent a wonderful stay in Sergio’s beautiful villa. The villa is well equipped and close to the charming city of Specchia and the beaches (25 minutes by car) Fabio (the man in charge) was very friendly and always ready to help us . We will surely recommend this villa and the quietness of the location to anyone who wants to have a nice and relax vacations in Puglia. Thank you Sergio and stay safe.

We had a lovely stay. The villa is in a lovely peaceful and quiet area. If you want to escape then this is the place for you. The garden is brimming with flowers and wildlife, it's a real oasis and the pool was perfect for us to cool off in during the hotter parts of the day. There's a huge roof terrace offering 360 views of the surrounding area, perfect for watching the sun set. We were met at the property by Fabio & Gina who took time to show us all the amenties, both were very friendly and helpful. The nearest shop is a 45 min walk, so transport is ideal and there's adequate secure parking at the villa for several cars. We'd definitely return if in the area again.
