Villa with Large Pool and Panoramic Sea - and Mountain Views

This villa is a hidden gem! We loved its peaceful, elevated position with a beautiful sea view. The pool was absolutely amazing—much larger and more inviting than it appears in the photos. We spent hours swimming and relaxing, and the water was always clean and a perfect temperature, even in the evenings. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue; the provided fans and the villa's position meant it cooled down nicely as the sun moved to the back of the house later in the day. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for meals, and the surrounding plants added a lovely touch to the outdoor space. The 20-minute walk to town was a pleasant way to start and end the day. We would definitely stay here again.

The photos of this villa does not do it justice. It wows when you arrive. It is perfect! Everything you need is there. Peace and tranquility. Beautiful pool and a very friendly pool guy. There is no ac but there is a beautiful breeze throughout the villa. Hans, the owner, is a lovely man and responds to any questions. The hill is steep down to Praia da Luz but either rent a car, uber or if you feel brave walk. If you are looking for a perfect villa and location, look no further. Thank you Hans.

Lovely house in very quiet neighbourhood. Very well equipped for a comfortable stay. Pool is fantastic with nice views over the ocean. Owner (Hans) did everything to facilitate a pleasent stay. We will return for sure!

Lovely property, and great communication with the property manager and owner. Fabulous pool, and all amenities as advertised. The cleaners were a bit unreliable and didn’t do a great job, and we did have some problems with the electrics failing, but the property manager and owner addressed these as quickly as possible. The property experience would benefit from some minor adjustments - we would have liked a few more pillows and newer larger towels, plus a comfy sofa in the living room, and some brighter lighting. However, overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the property. Many thanks

The villa is clean, very well kept and well-placed, being only a short walk (15 mins) to the centre and beach of Luz, and a longer scenic walk along the coast to Burgau. We chose not to hire a car (off road parking available), instead relying on ubers (plentiful) making dinner in Lagos an easy evening trip. It was wonderful to wake up each day and watch the sun rise whilst sitting by the pool. The villa is on a quiet residential road so very minimal traffic. Hans was an excellent host - very responsive and communicative. Overall a fabulous villa in a great location.

We had a brilliant family holiday in the villa . The contact and communication with owner and local team was first class . They were very helpful. The Villa is very well equipped and lovely and clean . We had plenty space for all 5 adults. We did hire a car for some of our stay which I would recommend as it can be very hot to walk up to the villa from local shops .

We stayed as a family of 4 in the villa for 2 weeks in August. We are very familiar with the area having visited regularly over the last 15 years and the location is excellent, you can walk to the beach and restaurants in 10 minutes or so, little bit longer on the way back as everything in Luz away from the beach is uphill ! Villa was spotlessly clean and we were met by the very helpful villa manager on arrival who gave us keys and shows us round. Property is very comfortably furnished with nice big rooms, a well appointed kitchen with everything you would need and fantastic outside space with pool and large gated driveway. The road the villa is on is very quiet cul de sac so very little traffic going past at all. Communication with the owners was excellent and very responsive, would recommend highly and would be happy to rent again.

what a lovely villa. location on a hill with sea views. 10 min walk to Luz and beaches. Villa is large and spacious and in very good condition. Utensils and machines etc are in good working order. Comfy beds also. only possible downsides are the pool is to the front of the property and hence visible from traffic on the road and neighbours. (however it is a very quiet road and we didn't see much of the neighbours). While we were there it was very hot and had trouble sleeping. However after 4 days we we supplied with portable aircon units for each bedroom. I would definitely recommend this villa. It is great.
