Villa with (heated) private pool close to beach and Lagoon Obidos

It was amazing, fantastic!

We were very impressed with this villa in foz do arelho. Spotless on arrival and In a great location on the edge of town. It's a great space for families and really functional, the pool is a real highlight and the outdoor space is really nice with a view of trees and the town. The lagoon is very close and very relaxing and the beach is a straight drive down a main road which got busy on August the nearer we got, parking is hard. I think it is better to use the road which runs along the lagoon to get to the beach/restaurants etc, taking advantage of the villas location. We stayed for ten days and loved every minute of it.

We have never stayed in such a well appointed villa- it had everything we needed and more. Our host was there to meet on arrival and every thought had been taken care of, from the welcome pack of essentials to the little things like soap in every bathroom and a vast array of spices to support cooking meals. We genuinely wanted for nothing in our time.A wonderful modern clean villa close to everything we needed! An amazing stay and would love to return in the future!

Modern villa with everything you need. High standard of finish and great communication with the owners and property management. Great location in walking distance to local restaurants and a short car or cab to obidos. The coastline here is stunning, with lots to do and see. Will definitely definitely coming back.

Lovely clean smart villa, the pool was amazing! Perfect size, had all the items needed for our stay, including some dishwasher tablets and bin bags which were appreciated. The beds were so comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep! The location is perfect, 30 mins walk to the beach, great for a morning run! So quiet in the neighbourhood which is exactly what we needed. Towns and villages nearby within easy reach. Pool heat was great and definitely needed early June! The owners were easy to get hold of during the booking process and made everything easy for us. We would love to return!

We chose this location as a mid point for exploring in all directions. Conveniently located to the beach with wonderful restaurants and still positioned in a small town with local charm, restaurants and a bakery. Hiking and birdwatching were a huge plus in this area and the coastal hikes were absolutely fabulous. This property was so comfortable and private that spending time “at home” enjoying the pool was equally wonderful. There is plenty of space for large groups/family and yet intimate enough for a party of two. The property was well appointed and for those that might enjoy preparing meals at home, all the basics and a few extras were available. The communication with both the owners and the local staff was excellent and yet not intrusive. It is a wonderful property with all the conveniences of a newer build and yet the charm of having a local rooster saying good morning once we opened the blinds and the windows and could hear his lovely song. It was a relaxing holiday with historical sites all around and spectacular natural beauty in abundance.

Beautiful modern property on outskirts of Foz with lovely heated pool at a nice 28C! Great location for exploring the Silver Coast from Peniche, Baleal, Foz, Obidos, Sao Martinho Do Porto and Nazare. Easy access from LIS and into Lisbon. Meike & Bernard were kind enough to accept our last minute booking and with the support of Isabelle and the local team we had a super week. Highly recommended.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. Everything was exactly as described! We especially enjoyed the heated pool and outdoor area at the end of the day to relax. Thank you for making our stay in Portugal one we will never forget.

Property was according to description. Everything was clean. House was properly equipped with everything. Communication with Isabelle was easy. Situation is perfect to visit the silver cost. I would recommend this property.
