Villa Sophia - 4 bedroom Villa with infinity private pool

Despina and George were model hosts - Despina in particular welcome us with enough beautiful cooked food for a whole legion! villa Sophia was exactly what we expected - cannot recommend it highly enough and we will probably be going again. Fabulous villa with views that are just stunning. Easily the best villa we have stayed in, with everything you need to hand including an outside kitchen area, spotlessly clean with maids every few days, in a lovely quiet location just 5 mins from Ag Nic and 10 mins from Elounda. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket that are walkable but having a car made getting around a lot easier. Also have to mention Despoina, who had left us a beautiful meal and wine on our first night and then turned up with Cretan donuts and Baklava later in our stay - a lovely welcome and so thoughtful.

Perfect villa! The landlord made everything they could to make a perfect vacation. World highly recommend!

The Villa and hospitality was more than what we expected. The house was amazing, beautifully furnished and clean, great outdoor space and the pool with the view was priceless. Ioanna made us feel very welcome and there was a meal with bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, even though we arrived at midnight! We loved the location and again Ioanna recommended some great places to eat and visit. We would love to come back for sure. Thank you so much ?

We arrived at the villa and were greeted by the owner, Despina, who was very welcoming. Having showed us around the villa and pool, we were then pleasantly surprised to be presented with a delicious home cooked Cretan chicken meal, cooked for us by Joanna along with a bottle of local wine to complete our meal. A wonderful beginning to our holiday. The villa was very comfortable and supplied all our needs. Joanna visited us after a couple of days and gave us some traditional Cretan cakes and wanted to check that we were happy and had all we needed. Both ladies spoke excellent English and recommended some wonderful places to visit, tavernas and beaches. Mum came with us and had the guesthouse suite downstairs, with her own front door, perfect! The pool was lovely, little bit cold as we visited end of October, but we did swim practically every day and nearby Valissimos beach was beautiful, shallow warm crystal clear water and golden sands. We had a car, arranged for us by the villa owners. We were greeted at the airport and followed the young man who greeted us from the airport to the villa door! A car was necessary for the location and would recommend bringing own dvds as there are none in the villa (blu ray player) and english speaking tv was limited to news channels. The villa was visited by maids and a pool attendant every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the weather was wonderful, one rainy day in 14, and the first rain in Crete for 6 months! Defintely recommend, wish we could have stayed longer!
