Villa Olemez - Private family villa License No: 48-8194

This was our 3rd stay at Villa Olemez. It was great as ever. My review from Aug 23 pretty much says it all.

Honestly don’t think you will find better for the price in Dalyan. Beautiful pool and gardens, comfortable and cool inside with plenty of space for a large family. A little piece of paradise and not forgetting Lucy the cat. Perfect

Great second stay at Villa Olemez. My first review from Aug 23 pretty much says it all.

As another reviewer mentioned this Villa looks even better than the pictures show. We were met at the airport and brought straight to the Villa, effortlessly easy. Couple of very minor issues on day one i.e. the safe has been closed and we needed the key to reset it. I emailed Salih and received a response in under 15 minutes, then maintenance arrived within the hour. Fantastic service so many thanks for that. Pool is large and the garden and outdoor area are perfect- you can always find sun and shade. Villa is brilliantly well equipped, from games to books, washing up liquid to beach towels. There are also plastic glasses for use outside. Minor gripe is that the air con in one bedroom is on a sensor, if you don’t move about much it shuts down and meant that the room became hot and stuffy. Quick 10 minute walk into town, would recommend The Lemon Tree and Olive Garden for evening meals. There is a villa cat called Lucy, she is not allowed inside the villa. I have to say we are dog people and not cat people but she won us over and is the most adorable, affectionate cat. Doesn’t cause any bother and loves a packet of cat food or leftover steak from a meal! This was our second holiday in Dalyan and if we return, we would book here again.

We’ve stayed in villas in Dalyan for about 7 years and this was definitely the best so far - we hope to return.

The best villa that we’ve stayed in. Comfortable, stylish and very well equipped. High quality in terms of build and fittings/furnishings and very well maintained. Effective air con and a lovely garden and pool that exceeded expectations.It was great to bookend each day sat on the large veranda - breakfast in the mornings and drinks in the evening. Unfortunately our stay was somewhat marred by the selfish behaviour of families in 2 neighbouring villas who constantly appeared to be competing to see who could generate the most noise. This of course can happen anywhere and we were just unlucky in this respect. During times that they were the neighbourhood was very peaceful. A quick and easy walk into town and a well stocked shop closer at hand. Whilst we’d visited Dalyan several times in the past our last visit was quite a few years ago. We were pleased to find that Dalyan remains largely unchanged. Liaison with the owner in terms of booking/payment etc was absolutely hassle free with the owner always fully contactable and quick to respond. Our return flight was late in the evening and we weren’t able to negotiate a final day with the owner due to the next booking. We simply booked a room for the day in a nearby hotel in order to have a comfortable base for the day and be able to rest, swim, and shower etc before our airport transfer. We would very happily stay at the villa again and would highly recommend it to others.

This was our first trip to Turkey and from start to finish, the whole process was one of helpfulness and support. Hayley, the property owner was our first point of contact through Vrbo and she was more than helpful answering our initial questions. Once the villa is paid for, contact is handed over to the villa manager Salih, who I have to say was first class! Nothing was too much trouble for him. The villa itself is in a great location. Its on the outskirts of town in a quiet neighbourhood approx 10-15 min walk to the action. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the way in, so if you need a pit stop you can take your pick. As the taxis were so cheap (TL100 or approx £3.00), we elected to get them as the heat was pretty intense even around 7pm when we generally went out in the evening. Inside, the villa has everything you will need for your stay, even a water cooler which you can arrange for a replacement bottle from Salih for TL50 or £1.50. We didn't have a car, so this saves having to buy from the supermarkets. Aircon is in all bedrooms and the main living area downstairs. Outside, the gardens and pool area are immaculate. There is a bike that I used for essentials, this came in really handy. All the bulky items such as beer and wine we got delivered to the villa. We found out who delivered what through Facebook forums for Dalyan. If in doubt, ask Salih, what a guy! We loved it so much, we've booked for next year!!!

It has flown by far too quickly. Perfect position. Quiet at night & an easy walk to either the shops or restaurants during the day/evening. A beautiful Villa which I could highly recommend. I was here last year & I’ll be here maybe twice next year. The pool & grounds are fabulous. Daily pool cleaning & beautiful shrubs. Maybe a hand rail down to the washing line would help. Lovely view of the mountains. Every thing available to prepare & cook an evening meal too. Air con in all the rooms.Plenty of shade. The info book is very helpful. Thank you. Belinda

Villa Olemez is a stunning 4 bedroom villa with a private pool. It is very modern with great air conditioning. The garden and pool are well maintained and an absolute delight to spend a holiday there. For our group, one of the best things was the Villa cat, Lucy. A fussy attention loving cat with a very sweet personality. 10/10 will be staying again.
