Stayed Sep 5, 2024This reale was one of the nicest places we stayed at. Our host , Luka, is one of the friendliest persons you can meet. He and his family were able to help us with any problems we had. We hope to be able to stay here again!

Stayed Aug 20, 2022Villa is just as described, excellent communication with hosts. Nothing was any trouble for them. We arrived very late and Luca was there at midnight to welcome us with food and beers and a short tour of the villa which is very quirky and lovely. The pool is very clean and lots of shade around so very useful for 12 month old baby. Imotski is definitely worth visiting. Good walk around the red lake takes an hour. Worth going to blue lake, swimming there is good but wear need swim shoes. Thanks to Luca and Jelena and parents, the apple cake was delicious.

Stayed Jun 27, 2022This place is just perfect for family vacation. We were three families with young kids and the set up was just perfect to make the young and the old happy. The outside space is amazing!!!! Big pool, a lot of games for the kids, a large outside table with fridge… The owners and their family were so sweet and helpful that we felt like home . My little nephew got sick and they even accompanied my cousin to the hospital with him. The dad’s owner who does not speak a word of english even came to help us with a problem and was a sweetheart. Let’s not forget the mom’s owner who made us delicious local deserts. The house is perfectly located to visit a lot of attractions around. It is close to Mostar, The blue and red lakes and the coast where are all the beautiful beaches. However, do not trust Google map on the duration of your trip. Most of the time you must add 15 minutes or more to the drive because the roads are busy and small. The ri a small grocery and a bakery at one minutes of the house and everything you need in Imotski which is 8 minutes drive from the house. We would definitely recommend this house !

Stayed Sep 4, 2019The villa owners, Dino and Jelena with brother in law Luca, could not have been more courteous and helpful. The whole family were on hand to oversee the very few and minor problems that we had e.g. one cold shower. The property is nicely decorated and the pool area and pools very clean and peaceful. The hosts were very hospitable and provided us with cakes and pastries and grapes on two of our day, plus a very reasonably priced wine fridge which was well stocked with local red and white wine and liqueurs. They also very kindly prepared a welcoming meal as we arrived too late to shop in the local supermarkets. The villas were well equipped for self-catering and already had some basic ingredients. Towels and bedding were plentiful, and being a party of 6 adults with one toddler it was bliss to be able to retreat to our own base to give us all self-contained living arrangements. The villa is very easy to locate provided you find the A1 road out of Split, we didn't and took the coast road by mistake thus lengthening our journey. It is advised to fly into Split as the distance to the villa is only 1 hour 2O minutes but 3 hours from Dubrovnik. There is a small shop just 5 minutes walk from the villa and a local bakery 10 minutes walk away. Because of the villas location a car is absolutely essential. The relaxed and lovely seaside town of Vaska Boda is 20 minutes drive and Imotski the nearest point of civilisation with two supermarkets, some bars and coffee shops a 10 minutes drive. The two local must see sights are the Red and Blue Lakes, located in two of the deepest sink holes in the world. Do take swimming kit if you visit the Blue Lake as you will be grateful of a dip after descending the slopes on a hot day. I really would recommend this well laid out, spacious accommodation with blissful pool area and attentive hosts, but be mindful of its location.

Stayed Aug 10, 2019Excellent property, we had a fabulous time. A large family holiday in a property that offered great facilities, well equipped kitchen, dining facilities, and wonderful pool and garden. The area is safe, removed from the over crowding near the coast, but close enough to Split and Makarska to commute to key tourist areas. The house offered a great space, the hosts were responsive, offered advice on trips, and true Croatian hospitality that we will never forget. Would definitely consider returning.

Stayed Sep 3, 2018We recently stayed at the villa for 10 days for our ruby wedding Anniversary with our family. The villa suited all our needs for a family of 7, it is very spacious and had everything you needed. The pool was lovely and the paddling pool was perfect for our 17 month granddaughter. Luca and Jelena were excellent hosts and was on hand if you needed anything. On our Anniversary they brought a cake for our celebration made by Luca’s mum which was delicious. You need transport to stay at the villa but driving in Croatia is not a problem and it gives you the opportunity to see more of Croatia. Dino was very helpful prior to travelling and always responded straight away. He sent a video on how to get to the property once you are near which we found most helpful even though we had a sat nav. Would recommend this property as it’s perfect.

Stayed Jul 14, 2018We were warmly welcomed by Lucca and shown around this wonderful property which is only 15 minutes from the beach in a beautiful valley in the mountains. The villa was very clean and comfortable and the pool area was spectacular. The owners have poured their hearts and souls into this place. We loved staying there and were furtinate enough to visit when Croatia made it to the World Cup final. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks for everything and best of luck for the future! John, Michelle and family.

Stayed Aug 5, 2017Situated in a quiet location, this villa offers privacy and space for those who want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. A hire car is, however, essential. It is within easy driveable reach of the coast and the seaside resort of Baska Voda. The main house has a three bedroomed apartment downstairs and a separate two bedroomed apartment upstairs, with its own entrance. The outdoor space offers a variety of locations to eat, as well as a fantastic poolside area with its own two bedroomed apartment. For children there is a well equipped play area as well as a child friendly pool next to the main swimming pool with an all round depth of 1metre 60. As a non-confident swimmer, this small pool was ideal. There are no overlooking properties and the pool lights in the evening are really magical. Luca, the owner, could not be more helpful and speaks very good English. The villa is awash with artwork - sculptures and paintings - from what is clearly a very talented family. Imotski is the closest town, a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Do eat at the Venezia Hotel for very reasonably priced food and an outdoor terrace with magnificent views. I cannot recommend this villa more highly. Thank you Luca for allowing us to stay in your very beautiful home.
