Villa La Sapinière de Vittel, in the heart of the Vittel spa resort

We had a lovely week at La Sapiniere - a beautiful house in a large plot of land within easy walking distance of the centre of Vittel and the park. The garden is rustic, with lots of shady spots and places to explore and hide for the children, and a beautiful pool which was much appreciated in the mid-30 degree heat! We loved having leisurely lunches in the garden, drinks and games on the terrace and the children absolutely adored the chickens, who were so friendly and laid plenty of eggs throughout the week! The house is beautiful - the children loved the large top room, however it did get incredibly hot up there.The other bedrooms are beautiful - also hot at times, but I suspect this was the unusual temperatures in Vittel for this week! We enjoyed a few meals out - Cof and Maison Barrois are recommended, and loved the selection of pastries on offer in the many local bakeries! Thank you Nicolas and family for a lovely week!

Lovely house with beautiful garden and pool. Owner very friendly. Organic shop down the road. The neighborhood is very quiet. The town is nothing special, but there are options to visit nice places by car, such as Nancy, which is lovely.

The only word to describe this house is amazing! Nicolas and his wife are such lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for you. My daughter fell in love with one of the daughter's dolls and when I asked Nicolas where he got it from so I could buy one he told me but said if we don't find it we could take that one. Such a generous gesture. The swimming pool was heated and therefore fantastic for our 6month old daughter and the house and grounds are simply stunning. Although in a residential area, it doesn't feel like it as the garden is big and surrounded by tall trees. Loved that they also have 3 chickens roaming the garden. Can't say enough good things, would highly recommend and would definitely go back again.
