Stayed Jun 11, 2022The accommodation was perfect and very clean and the pool, although not very large, was more than adequate and was a godsend. The immaculately trimmed gardens and trees that line every street are very picturesque. The property owner provided us with lots of information which made the check-in process and our stay stress-free. During our stay I had a few occasions where I wanted to contact the property owner and, each time, she responded straight away. The location was very good but, in hindsight, I would have hired a car. The local shops were only a 15 minute walk away but carrying heavy shopping home in the heat was not enjoyable. We visited Los Alcazares once (via taxi) and had a lovely meal in El Patio (would definitely recommend this restaurant). The area has many bars and restaurants and, once again, we would have visited there more frequently if we'd had a car. The €80 return taxi journey put us off doing it more than once. The bars and restaurants on the resort were disappointing (mostly closed) but, post-COVID, this is understandable. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed amazing weather. I would definitely recommend La Torre Golf resort for a relaxing holiday. As I mentioned, in future I will hire a car so we can get out and visit some of the local areas such as Murcia city and Cartagena.
