Villa Green on Blue - peaceful rural location with panoramic sea & forest views

Check in was excellent, Anthoula met us at the port and was kind enough to wait as we stopped at the small supermarket for supplies.

The outside speaks for itself. It’s stunning. The ocean and hill views an amazing way to start the day and end the day. You hear nature whilst sitting at the pool wonderful for the soul!!

Everything about our stay was relaxed, easy and enjoyable. The pool area was a big draw for us as it is larger than most we viewed, perfect for our teenagers to splash around and get in laps. The grounds are extensive and the property is spacious, meaning there was plenty of space to relax and either socialise or have a quiet moment. The interior is simple and clean. When we had a problem with air con in one room it was addressed and fixed quickly. Overall it met all our expectations and gave us what we love about Greek islands, smells, sounds and tranquility.

This has been an amazing place to stay for location and facilities. The pool is beautiful and the views breathtaking. Eleni, the housekeeper spoke fantastic English and couldn’t have been more helpful. Air conditioning was super and we were grateful for it as the weather was very hot during our stay. House was well appointed. You do need a car and boat hire from Neo Klima was one of our highlights. The Mamma Mia chapel is worth a climb at sunrise when there is no one there and the skies are stunning.

We had a wonderful few days at this beautiful villa, it’s in a lovely quiet spot, the pool is fantastic and only 5 minutes to the shops/bakery.

We have just returned from a magical week at Villa Green on Blue with our family of 4. The highlight for us was the swimming pool and outdoor space, but hopefully those looking at this villa will appreciate a more detailed review so happy to give a bit more information: Outdoor space – perfect, the pool was the best we have ever had, long, wide, very clean and perfectly positioned. The villa occupies quite a large space with fig, almond and plum trees. To the back of the house you have a great view of the sea, and we spent a few nights there doing some star gazing, with no light pollution the night sky was stunning. Location – a mile or so from the village of Glossa, quite an imposing position on the road out to Agois Ioaniss (Mamma Mia Church). Very quiet and very private. Glossa has a small number of nice restaurants, we walked down each evening (25 mins) and got a taxi back (10 Euros). There is also a fine bakers in the village where they do home cooked meals you can take away. The port of Loutraki, with 3 or 4 additional restaurants is a 15 Euro taxi ride away. Indoor Space – lots of space and really good air conditioning. The house is showing a little bit of wear and tear to be honest, mattresses were a little firm for our liking, but nothing to worry about really, and the outside was so beautiful that’s where we spent all our time. We had a very small problem with the plumbing one day and the owners were very responsive and had a plumber out within an hour.

The pool was amazing as was the garden but the house is rather neglected with lots of things broken, dirty or not working. Such a pity as it would use just a few repairs and some maintenance (the kettle does not boil the water, mosquito nets are broken or missing in some rooms, terrace door does not close so the house is technically always accessible, the kitchen was not properly cleaned etc.). The views are incredible but you really do need a car to get anywhere from the house.

We had a great holiday in a beautiful villa with nice garden and pool.

We've been to different Greek Islands over the years and to Skopelos - this is the most outstanding property we have ever stayed in. Anthoula, who helps her uncle run the house, was brilliant. We would like to return it was just glorious.

Close to restaurants and great beaches. Excellent AC, swimming pool and outstanding views.
