Honestly can't praise Dimitra enough - consistent, helpful and accurate contact from the very beginning, helping us with anything we needed. Agalia who ran a local taxi service, also super helpful and good calue - particularly when we needed the minibus for 6 of us. Mary the cleaner took time to show us around the place and even run us to the local shopwhen we arrived to get stocked up. And then the actual villa. Well im not exaggerating when i say its absolutely stunning. Way better than it appears on the photos. 3 floors, each beautifully laid out and decorated. Every provision supplied and the most stunning views. 5 mins walk a mini market, a further 5 minutes walk to Vrahos beach and bars and restaurants a plenty, along with watersports and inflatable fun for kids. In the other direction a 15 minute walk to Lygia a small and pretty harbour town with a few restaurants and cool bars a bit further along. And in the middle, your own slice of private heaven. All 6 of us loved it and agree the only thing that could have improved our stay wouldve been a couple of scooters or bycicles for those who struggled with walking in the heat (it was 37 degrees most days) but it really was perfect.of theof the week) but beautiful small r and

Perfect traditional Greek villa in a perfect location with beautiful views just steps down to a semi private beach - what more could you want! In a quiet location but a walk or short drive to Vrachos beach with several bars and restaurants, if you can tear yourself away from the villa! The towns of Parga and Preveza are only 30 mins drive away, and a visit to Acheron Springs is a must. The host Dimitra was very responsive and very helpful. Beautiful sunsets from the villa. We would go back.

Great house with great owner. Got a warm welcome including house description even our ferry was delayed in the evening. The house is fully equipped because owner use it themselves for holiday. The owner is really supportive gave us tipps for restaurants and supermarkets. We have been there in the side season and enjoyed a lot of privacy. The garden and the sunsets are amazing, we really enjoyed and are happy to come again. Also our huge dow was welcome.

The villa Effelli is a beautifully and artistically decorated house, right on a lovely stretch of sandy beach. We loved the hammocks and outside eating area, we loved the balconies and gorgeous bathrooms. Our lovely host generously arranged for fresh bread to be delivered every day and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Sitting outside in the evening watching the sunset was really special. A peaceful, magical place.

We adored Villa Efelli. It is a delightful house in a beautiful location. Every morning I played my guitar for a couple of hours in the garden with only the sea view and a lot of cicadas for company. The beach is pretty much private - very few itinerant bathers, mostly just residents of the few local houses. The water is crystal clear, with no urchins underfoot - a great relief. 25 mins walk or 3 mins drive to tavernas on Vrachos beach or the one in Lygia village. Plenty of bars, minimarkets in Vrachos, too. Vrachos was quite lively - bars and watersports - so we alternated with a day on the beach at home and one there. The villa is clearly a beloved family retreat and the decor is exquisite (if quirky in places). The kitchen is on the small side, but we coped and cooked regularly without too much trouble. The outside spaces are simply glorious.... Finally, Dimitra was a wonderful host, even going so far as to bake cakes and pies for us, as well as delivering fresh cherries and arranging for daily bread deliveries. Definitely a five-star experience from us.

We were a group of relatives with kids and I can say that this property was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Spacious rooms, unique traditional style, well equipped kitchen with all facilities. The espresso machine was a pleasant surprise. I love Italian coffee... and the fresh bread provided every morning at the gate was just the perfect way to start the day. The beach almost private, and the sea is crystal clear. Kids loved diving and watching the fish The cleaning lady ( Meri ) was very friendly and helpful. She makes the best organic marmalade ( gliko ) :). The guy who helped with the cleaning of the garden was friendly and helpful too. Thank you Dimitra ( the lovely owner ) for everything. You made our stay the prefect family holiday... I would highly recommend this property to everyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday, in a place that you'll immediately feel like your home.

We arrived at Villa Effeli at night after a long drive. The magic of the house and Dimitra's welcoming made a fantastic first impression to every member of our party of 6 adults. The second impression did not disappoint: the place is full of wonderful surprises and has great atmosphere with a sense of the local vernacular. It is also very comfortable. The garden, terraces and beach are also great with a lot of personal touches. We were not very lucky with the weather, but we still enjoyed a few extraordinary sunsets setting right between the islands of Paros and AntiParos, from the upper terrace. Dimitra was always at hand to give us local recommendations and tips for our visits. The whole area has an fascinating past (ancient Greek, Roman, Ottoman etc...), so we were able to do very interesting sight seeing when it was not beach weather.Possibly because of the rain, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes along all that coast, but a bit of prevention works. A place we would all like to return

I spent a very relaxing week here with 5 other friends. It is a spectacular house with lots of good place to sit and read a book. The private access to the beach is also a big benefit. For the adventurous there is also an outdoor oven which is fun for making Pizzas in. Dimitra is very hospitable and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful week in a wonderful house.

I don't know where to begin. My girlfriend and I live in New York, and we wanted to escape to the Mediterranean. This is definitely the beautiful home we were looking for when we first imagined a beach vacation in Greece. The house and it's stone deck leading to the beach are true masterpieces. There are hammocks outside, as well as a shower. I spent nearly a week there with my girlfriend and we could not ask for a more romantic, calm, and majestic setting to enjoy the Mediterranean. It's a big house so I think of one day returning with a group of friends. Oh and I also had the best fish of my life at a taverna restaurant in a nearby town.
