If you are looking for a wonderful rustic but updated home for 8 adults in the beautiful Lago di Garda area, look no further. This home is perfect for your stay. The lake views are superb and the grounds are beautiful and safe behind a gated drive. The owner/host, Augusto is a fantastic host and knows the area well. The small villages near the home are walkable and have great restaurants and markets. The home is a wonderful base for touring the Veneto regions and the Garda lake area towns. For the Americans who choose this wonderful home- you will be comfortable and the home has all the devices and appliances you need except a dryer most homes do not have a dryer at this level. You also will need to supply all your own consumables like extra toilet paper, paper towels and cooking condiments ( salt, pepper spices coffee and filters) Other than these things the home has all the bedding I tenet, TV etc There is a whole home stereo system for music during dinner on the lovely patio.This is a 5 star home and location for those who want a classic Italian farm home experience by beautiful Lake Garda.

Wonderful view, totally fenced garden (for our dogs), clean and spacious house. Augusto, the landlord, is very friendly and courteous. We'd come back immediately.

Spending a few days at Augusto's place should be on everyone's bucket list! I spent a wonderful week in July with my Italian/English/US family - mother, sister and husband, cousin, my teenage sons and my husband - 8 of us. Plenty of space for everyone and with three bathrooms - it was easy. The view is truly breathtaking and being able to dine al fresco every morning and night with that setting, was truly an Italian dream! It allowed for so much social bonding time over a meal. The pictures capture the view well but it is even more magical when you are there - the slope of the front lawn hill, the sounds of the cicadas, the smells of the hillside and lake air, watching a thunderstorm approach -magical! Augusto is a most gracious, friendly and attentive host. The reviews are true! From beginning to end, he was easy to communicate with and genuinely excited to host us. He provided us with so many useful recommendations of places to visit, restaurants to try, bikes and boats to rent and on and on. It just felt good to know we had the support when we needed it. Three things are worth knowing that were not captured so well on the website: 1. There are more stairs then you think. This was an issue for my elderly mother. The rest of us had no problems. The house is kind of tri-level. Worth knowing if you have an injury or handicap related to walking. It would not be so comfortable - especially access from kitchen to patio. 2. Access to villa is VERY car dependent - and avoid a big van if you can. Roads are narrow and become one lane near the golf course - so lots of nerves hoping no one would be coming the other way -- a fun family adventure most of the time, though! The thing is, I had imagined that my teenagers might be able to bike into Toscolano-Maderno to meet up with friends everyday - but access was trickier than we thought. Not so much the steep roads (expected that) but some parts were just too narrow and kind of unsafe for tourists like us who don't do this everyday and would need more time to learn best routes and adjust. 3. Kitchen is for one person really - surprising given the size of villa - but the the outdoor kitchen space is lovely and if you are good at BBQ (which we were not) - it becomes a much bigger kitchen! We can't wait to return in the future. Grazie Augusto - di tutto!

Hospitality of Augusto was mentioned in comments before and we can confirm this wholeheartedly. The location offers a beautiful view on the lake as well a quietness to enjoy great evenings.

We had a great week in the wonderful house. Each day start with the breakfast outside with the pantastic view. The Check in and check out was very warm and Augusto is a great coach for nice places arround the house (no tourist guide is necessary ?). He was very helpful and connected during our stay. Many thanks for these amazing days.

We (6 adults + one 2 year old child) have spent 14 days at the beautiful Villa dei Rosmarini. Everything was just perfect and we have enjoyed our vacation very much, starting with a very warm welcome from Augusto, who is a very nice and friendly person helping us with everything we needed. There was nothing that we have missed. The garden at the house was a wonderful place to relax and provided also good possibilities to play with our two year old child. The location of the house is great, it feels like being directly in the nature with a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains. It is also a good starting point to discover all the lovely places around lake Garda. A nice bathing place at lake, with also a nice view to the mountains is approx. 5 to 7 car minutes away from the villa. We would definitely book the house again for our vacation at lake Garda. Thank you very much Augusto for renting the villa to us and making our vacation to a very special and relaxed time!

The property is really well equipped and Augusto (the owner) could not be more helpful. It is well positioned to visit the beautiful towns around Lake Garda but also a quiet peaceful retreat for the evenings.

The property is set on a hillside overlooking a beautiful part of Lake Garda. It has every facility that any family require and Augusto the owner is so helpful and will do anything to ensure his clients are happy and satisfied.
