Stayed Oct 18, 2023The house is absolutely amazing. Beautiful architecture, interesting furniture, loads of space for a family, it feels like a really unique place to stay and we really enjoyed being there. Even when it was autumnal and a little chilly, it was a lovely place to spend time. However, it is overall really neglected by the hosts. We had no idea how to check in as the information on the booking and from Vrbo was wrong. We were there at night in the pitch black after confirming our arrival time via Vrbo that day and no one was there. We had to go to a nearby hotel for help. We were told on arrival there was no Wifi, which we pushed back on and was eventually fixed. No amenities were provided - no washing up liquid, olive oil or anything. The pool wasn't cleaned while we were there so within 2 days it was dirty and unusable. We were given absolutely zero information upon check-in which meant we had no idea how to find a lot of things and we only realised the next day that we had no hot water. This was fixed quite quickly. It's a shame as this is a beautiful property and could be a lot better, but for the amount we paid we didn't feel we were looked after at all.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was very nice. But interior a bit dated. Also not all lights were working, particular the garden lights. Also no linnen change for toe weeks. Nobody came to check everything was alright. The service in the nearby hotel (which we could use foc) was not good. Restaurant was closed and beauty Center and swimming pool was not very good. No credit card details weer taken upon arrival.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I would like to have given a 5 star review but this isn't possible due to issues which could be improved on. The owners staff were helpful but promises to clean the pool weren't kept. The villa is in a perfect location for visiting all the Umbrian hill towns as well as being near to food shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The provision of a kettle and some mugs for English tea drinkers would be useful. As the house is quite dark, a few replacement light bulbs would be of benefit especially if you are staying out of season as we were. If we were visiting this area again I would be happy to return to this villa providing the suggestions above are implemented.

Stayed Jun 15, 2018Very nice property with a view of Assisi. Fenced yard allowed for our dogs to run off leash and play. Very peaceful surroundings and yet only 15 minutes away from the world. Check in/ Check out was easy and the staff was very responsive. A place to remember

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice house and garden close to nice villages. Interior is a bit dark but this comes with the house age i guess.
