Stayed Jul 20, 2024The villa was amazing, and looked as it did in the photos. The property location overlooked amazing views. On-site staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely book here again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to places, we wanted to visit. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything: beach, restaurants, tavernas, bars... all reachable within a 3-5 min drive. I think that the pictures accurately reflect the property....it deserves a 5*****. There is also a beautiful beach (Platanes Beach) within a few minutes drive where we enjoyed an early morning stroll. We found the people of Agia Triada and Rethymno very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I cant say enough about this villa and its secluded location. My family recently returned home from the property and had the best time! The Villa Asimenia and Rethymno were perfect for my family. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches nearby and also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes drive from the villa and the sea/beach (Platanes Beach) is only 10 minutes drive. The place is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Agni Travel was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You are sure to be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in this villa.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was a beautiful spacious well-equipped villa in a peaceful hillside location approx 15 mins drive from the center of Rethymno where there was plenty of life if you want it. The kids loved the occasional dip to the pool. Villa Asimenia is very spacious and we were grateful for the comfort of the sitting room in the villa as the weather was unseasonably chilly at night. We do rent a hire car as we wanted to visit also other places in Crete. There is no better way to enjoy an evening meal than on the veranda of Villa Asimenia enjoying the incredible sunsets. We hope to return soon!

Stayed Jun 23, 2019The house itself is older and more used than the pictures indicate. There was some broken furniture, broken appliances and broken lamps in the house. One of the AC units leaked in one of the bedrooms and the bucket that had been placed underneath was full and overflowing. There was also an ant problem in on of the other rooms and it took a couple days of airing out the house before it stopped smelling of mildew. With that said, we still felt like we got a great deal on the place. We were two sets of families with children and we had a fun time staying at the house and being in the pool. It’s also a very big house with three levels so everyone had Space to spread out. The property company is very easy to communicate with via the website and the property manager was very nice, responsive and quick to act on the issues with the ants. The pool man came everyday to clean the pool and the house keeper came daily to take the trash. Everyone was very friendly and polite. Some advice, you will need a rental car if staying here. There are a lot of great places within a couple hours or less drive that make for good day trips. We rented a tiny little Peugeot and it struggled getting up the hills and driveway to the villa. It’s a 10 min drive to the local Lidl (grocery store) and there are some really restaurants within 5 mins drive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a good holiday, beautiful villa. 3 days the weather was cloudly and much wind. The distance to the Lidl, the beach and the taverne’s was too far to walk, so we must need the car every time.
