Stayed May 13, 2017The gite is part of a beautifully designed modern Provencal home, set in a lovely quiet countryside setting away from the nearby town of Mazan, and overlooked by Mount Ventoux. On arrival the gates were open to us, and the driveway lined with flowers. Madame Feron welcomed us with a huge basket of fresh fruit, wine, homemade jams and a light meal that was very tasty after our journey. Over a slice of strawberry tart and a glass of flavoured wine, she elicited ideas of what we wanted to do and see in the area, and provided very useful information. She spoke very good English but was happy for us to practice our French. Her home, set in a carefully tended garden, consists of pool house, Madame's house, a covered car port, and the little house that was to be ours for our holiday. The whole garden was open to us and was safe for children to roam. Madame loves children and has toys galore available, both in the grounds and in the pool. The pool is heated to 30 degrees and is wonderful, especially with the view of Mount Ventoux. We were allowed to use it whenever we wished. There were bicycles to use also. Our little house had everything we needed for a very restful stay. It was beautifully clean, the bed was very comfortable, and there were lots of little extra supplies in the bathroom, and in the kitchen. Madame's daughter will also provide a very relaxing massage in her salon in a nearby town. The 2 unique features of this Villa en Provence are the gem of a pool and the very welcoming owner.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Looking for a beautiful location near the Mt Ventoux? We have found it in Mazan, in the villa of Mrs Dominica Feron. With four adult (NL) we had about an ideal private accommodation separate from the main house by a double carport. 2 bedrooms with private bathroom, separate toilet and a well furnished kitchen. All located in beautiful sunny garden with great indoor swimming pool. The receipt and provided facilities were found to have a guarantee of a carefree 14 day vacation. Just 1 km from the village with supermarket, village terraces and restaurants. Ideal starting point for discovering the Vaucluse

Stayed Dec 31, 1969If you want an authentic French holiday experience, then go where the French go. This was an idea we used to guide our selection of holiday residence on our trip to Provence in June 2014. We were not disappointed. This villa offers outstanding accommodation with excellent facilities and is well priced. As a bonus, the owner, Mme Fearon, lives on site and speaks English which helped as our French is limited. The holiday home is very clean and well presented, it is fully equipped for a self catering family holiday and has toys for children and adults alike, the enclosed and heated swimming pool is a marvellous amenity. Mme. Fearon was always accessible to help with any queries we had and was most helpful during our stay but was never intrusive, we were made to feel most welcome during our visit . We would thoroughly recommend this gem of a holiday home ,we give it a five star thumbs up and are looking forward to a return visit
