This is an accommodation to feel at home in while on holiday. Having been used as an oil press back in the 1930s the house is today a fully renovated holiday home. It is in a very quiet area and no one has a view to the open areas of the villa, there is privacy. It has a large veranda and a courtyard with views to the see end to the olive grove. Ιn both areas (veranda and courtyard) there are pergolas on the half to protect you from the sun. Also, it is very near to the center of Stoupa10 minutes walking distance. The whole village is a traditional picturesque settlement with old churches and beautiful beaches to visit. Some of them are the sandy beaches of Stoupa and Kalogria, and if you are looking for less crowded beaches you could go to Delfinia and Foneas beach. Do not miss a stroll in the afternoon at the picturesque harbor of Agios Nikolaos. For those who love day trips, you should visit the traditional village of Kardamili or the caves of Diros. If you are in for even longer day trips you would probably appreciate going to the Ancient Olympia, Koroni, Methoni or Monemvasia with its castle.

Pleasant house, good but quit location. Fabulous seaview/sunset from big terrace. The house felt nice and cool even in the hot summer. Airco in bedrooms was very convenient. Good kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals. Supermarkt nearby. You could walk to the beach, but having a car made it easier to explore beaches a bit further away. Comfortable beds and 2 good bathrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house in Stoupa.

Our stay in Lefktro in late September/early October was generally enjoyable but unfortunately affected by a very bad storm, during which there were high winds followed by torrential rains for nearly three days. The second bedroom was affected by a fall of dust, presumably from the ceiling, during the night of the high winds and by water ingress during the rain downpour. Our friends had to move to the third bedroom which has inadequate natural light. In addition the house lost its electricity connection for more than two days, when it was detached by the storm. The owner, Stella, who lives in Athens was understanding and helpful (as was the neighbour) and arranged for us and our friends to be relocated to a local hotel for two nights. Fortunately, the weather then improved and we were able to enjoy the remainder of our stay. The house was spacious and we particularly enjoyed the large first floor terrace which had fine views of Stoupa and the coast. The house was not properly equipped for the circumstances we encountered. There were insufficient candles, the torch we found had no batteries and even when some were purchased, it did not work as the battery contacts were corroded. In addition, some of the lights did not work (when the electrical power was on) and neither did the fan in the main bedroom. The visitor experience would be improved by the owner having a full check electrical check of the property carried out, as well as the roof repairs. For English guests the kitchen would benefit from a toaster and teapot being provided.

We had a wonderful stay at Stella's house : greatly located close to the village and the beaches, in a very nice area with beautiful stone houses. The house is very comfortable and we appreciated that it remained fresh despite the heat. We spent a very nice week with our kids and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

I spent a dream week in Stoupa, with friends, in the beautiful stone house of Stella. The house is comfortable, clean, well-equipped. The beach of Stoupa is very nice, in the surroundings are wonderful places to visit: Agios Nikolaos, Kardamili I warmly recommend this house with great personality. Mirela, Bucharest, Romania

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely villa located in the pretty village of Lefktro, near Stoupa. The property was very clean and comfortable, and beautifully presented. There is a spacious lounge/diner, a shower room and a well equipped kitchen leading out to an attractive courtyard garden – a lovely place to sit with your morning coffee! The upstairs accommodation comprises a generous, airy double bedroom leading onto to a large terrace with superb sea views, two smaller twin bedrooms (one with doors on to the terrace), and a bathroom. We enjoyed the leisurely stroll down to the main beach in Stoupa, which took about 15 minutes. The property is very well situated for the bakery and supermarket, but when you are filling up your trolley bear in mind that the last part of the walk back to the villa is a bit on the steep side! It might be worth considering hiring a car, but if you are reasonably fit it is not essential. Stoupa is a wonderful location for a relaxing summer holiday. There's lots to explore in the local area, with plenty of good restaurants to choose from. I would highly recommend hiring bikes and taking the coastal cycle path to the quaint fishing village Aghios Nikolaos. Kardamyli, in the other direction, is also well worth a visit. Stella was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process, and on arrival kindly met our airport taxi at the nearby supermarket in Stoupa so that we didn’t get lost on the last part of the journey. We loved this villa so much that we have re-booked for summer 2017!

The villa is lovely. It is beautifully restored and lies within the quaint village of Lefktro. It really feels as though you are in 'proper' Greece. The villa itself has lots of shady spots to sit and escape the heat. The flowers in the garden are beautiful. The lounge is lovely and cool and has lots of seating space. The double bedroom is fantastic. One bedroom is very pretty but is a bit on the small side and there is nowhere to put your clothes. This is best suited for children maybe. The third bedroom is of a good size but is not as nice as the other two as it does not benefit from the lovely views. In a way this doesn't matter as we spent all our time outside or out at the beach or visiting places. Parking is good for 2 cars one behind the other. There is no air-conditioning. Fans made it comfortable for us but in a real heat some people might struggle. The kitchen was well equipped and the dishwasher useful for a holiday! The property was very clean. The local area is very picturesque. The sandy beach at Kalogria was our favourite. There are many good Tavernas to eat in Stoupa itself. We also visited Kardamyli and Aghios Nikolaos, both lovely. Although small, we liked old town Kardamyli and had a wonderful lunch by the sea. There are plenty of supermarkets and we particularly like the pastry shop at the far end of Stoupa. Tasty ice-cream and baklava. My personal favourite restaurant was the Riviera. Get the cod fish with chips and it will be the best fish and chips you ever eat! We drove in to Stoupa from the villa. Lazy but easier with a 4 year old. Stella was very welcoming and right on time to meet us with the keys.

My wife and I rented this property for almost three weeks in October 2015. When we arrived we were met by Stella's parents and they showed us around the property. Stella's mom was wonderful making sure all the beds were ready for us as we surprised then with the announcement that our son, his wife and 4 year old would be joining us for a week. The property was superb. There were plenty of beds, places for people to not be in each other's way and the ocean views were excellent. The villa was clean and well stocked for us. Everything was in working order. Although the freezer was not working but there was a box freezer to accommodate our needs. The short walk to the bakery was nice, and the walk to the beach was about 15 minutes. Although the property is up a steep hill, this did not get in our way. We loved the second floor out side patio area as we spent a significant amount of time there looking out at the sea, reading, eating meals and resting. It is partially covered that provides shade and protects you from rain, allowing one to stay outside. We would recommend highly this property and working with Stella. The only issue that may need attention is the car parking issue. We were doing fine with this until the neighbor arrived and caused us some problems. We parked a little further up the hill not a serious obstacle but a minor inconvenience. Overall high grades great property and a great place to rent in the Stoupa area. We would definitely return. .
