SUPERB FAMILY VILLA, OVERLOOKING THE SEA WITH PRIVATE HEATED (OPTIONAL) POOL

What a gem of a holiday villa. The location was perfect- a short stroll to a lovely little bay (bring a snorkle as it was full of little fish), restaurants and the tram (which goes all the way to Alicante and Benidorm). There is small supermarket in the village centre which was great for little top-up shops.The views from the villa are just stunning- the villa is in a quiet residential area so we had all the peace we needed. You are two houses from the shore, which meant I could hear the sea! Bliss.The pool was bigger than the pictures give it credit for, which the kids loved. There's plenty of shade on the veranda - perfect for the kids.Check-in was super easy and Candy (our property manager) arranged shopping for us so that we didn't need to rush out on our first day! The villa had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The air-cons meant cool nights!We spent 9 days there and had a car to explore the area! Altea with it's typical Spanish charm, the Caves in the mountains, jet skiing in Alicante and a day on the beach in El Campello. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you David for an amazing villa!

This property was perfect for our family holiday with 2 adults, 4 children between the ages 11-18. On arrival we were met by the representative Candy who was so friendly and helpful, I was able to message her before our stay to ask about airport transfer, she was also happy to be contacted during our stay if there were any issues ( which there wasn't ).The pool was big enough and deep enough for diving and it was very clean. The villa was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, just needed a few more trays for the oven, otherwise perfect and we cooked a meal most days. The balcony was lovely to sit out on overlooking the sea and have drinks/ play cards in the evening. We were there in August when it was very hot during the day and evenings but manageable if dipping into the pool. Aircon is in the bedrooms ( not in the living areas) so there were no issues sleeping at night. The bedrooms were spacious, good amount of storage. Surrounding the whole property was a lovely garden that you could walk round with a nice quiet seating area at the front of the property. The location of the property is in a quiet village with a few bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. We didn't use these so cannot comment but seemed popular. The beach is a 5 min walk, it's not sandy, a little rocky but nice for a quick swim. The tram into El Campello was easy to walk to( but need good mobility) and cheap. Fantastic holiday definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful villa, very well equipped with beautiful outdoor spaces, it's much more spacious than the pictures suggest! Our trip was as a family of five with three small children (6, 4 & 2), so the lockable pool gates were absolutely a must for us. The pool area is wonderful, full sun all day, with plenty of sun-loungers and incredibly comfortable cushions. Candy's communication was amazing, she sent loads of information about the local area and things to do, and replied very quickly to questions. We didn't use the tram, as we hired a car, but would highly recommend the beaches in El Campello, beautiful sand, clean and plenty of sun-loungers/umbrellas to hire if needed. We absolutely made the right choice with this villa and hope to return one day!

Great property, with a lovely pool and great views of the sea. Nearby are some lovely bars and restaurants and 10 mins walk away is the Alicante to Benidorm tramline, which is perfect for getting up and down the coast. El Capello, 5 mins on tram is a great place for the beach and beach side restaurants.

This is a charming villa set in a hilly enclave just north of El Campello. We chose NOT to rent a car - so we stayed local (from Alicante to Villajoysa is easy/cheap to do by tram). The tram stop (and local wine/grocery merchant) is an easy 10 minute walk - take a backpack and its easy to do your shopping and be back at the villa. The grounds are nice with lots of vignettes around the villa to either chase the sun or the breeze depending on time of day. Candy was wonderful to meet us on the first day at the Alicante train station and wait for us to buy a few days grocery on our arrival (Sat) as most markets are closed on Sunday. So you do have to plan ahead a little. Pool area was great - we were lucky it hadn't gotten too cold yet. Only downside we could think of was the Aircon is only in the sleeping area of the house. This makes it necessary to keep the breeze blowing thru the rest of the house for comfort - and this lets in mosquitos. So bug spray is important. Great location, away from the big city but easy to enjoy get a city/country holiday with the touristy stuff in Alicante and the more local feel of El Campello and Coveta Fuma. Lovely villa great place, great communication couldnt recommend enough

My self and my family had a great holiday at this villa. The house is 10 minutes walk from the tram that took us to El Campello (for beach or shopping) and on into Alicante (for city buzz/harbour/beach) and even out to Benidorm (we were curious!!), so everything is within easy reach. The villa was also only 10 minutes walk from a plaza with numerous nice(ish) restaurants and watering holes. The house was very comfortable, with air conditioning allowing us to sleep in the heat, and the pool was also great to help us cool down. All in all, we had a great holiday, and would love to go back some day.

First impression was very good, nice clean property with plenty of room and lovely pool and garden with lovely flowers. It was very warm during our stay and the pool was used often. The property manager gave our party some very useful information concerning food orders. The nearest tram stops were just over 5 minutes walk from the villa and as we did not have a car hire it was used regularly. I have to say that the villa was very nice and well equipped and our party had a very enjoyable time there.

We have arrived home from another great stay at Villa Carlanna. Very clean, well equipped villa. We love the area as it is perfect for our family holiday- offers some restaurants in close proximity, convenience shop and easy access to mainline transport for longer excursions, if no car. Candy & Bonnie very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable at check in/out and throughout stay. No doubt will be back again!

Just home from such a wonderful stay. There were 5 adults and a three year old in our group. Lovely welcome pack awaited us which was a great gesture Candy was a fabulous host and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to WhatsApp her throughout our stay for questions or queries or even help with taxis. There is online supermarket app ( Candy will send you the link) or if you’d rather walk, a shopping trolly is available and it’s 20-15 minutes to nearest supermarket which has most things, including fresh bread and pastries but is bit limited on fruit. Supermarket next to the tram stop, which takes you into Alicante, Benidorm, El Campello all very cheap and range from 15-40 minutes on tram. Also within same walking range is village square with nice bars a various restaurants. Such a quiet location with incredible sea views. Everything we needed to cook, drink, chill was available. All towels were included as well as pool towels. Bring mosquito spra as mosquitos were around. There are lovely little bays within 10 -15 minute walks although not sandy. And water sports nearby that we would have loved to try if we had more time? Being able to wash your clothes was a positive. The lockable pool gate was amazing for the three year old. We felt so safe and secure in the villa. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect and enabled you to sleep soundly.
