Stayed Dec 31, 1969Me and my family had such a wonderful time, albeit short, in this wonderful house! The weather was great, the gardens were stunning, view in the morning was amazing. House had such a rustic feel, with tranquility. The owner was very helpful during our stay, and nothing was too much trouble for him. My only disappointment is we didn't stay longer! We will be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The villa is undeniably stunning and comfortable. We went with a group of 6 and slept comfortably. However while our introduction to the home was warm and welcoming, subsequent interactions with the owner proved to be problematic. There were no written instructions for anything in the house. The owner gave a cursory tour to one of our group members, who took notes, but there were some details lost. The one written instruction posted (a sign saying not to turn a certain lock) was in Italian only. Some of the appliances and other logistics (i.e. garbage separation and pick-up) were less than intuitive to work out, and we weren’t warned. The power went out at one point – the owner later confirmed the washing machine causes this – and we didn’t even know where to find the fuse box. When the owner came to inspect the house as we prepared to leave, we were chastised for, among other things, the following: - Garbage not being picked up (despite our having followed the schedule, albeit written only in Italian) - A chunk of plaster having fallen off a wall; we had no proof that we hadn’t done it, but no reason to believe we had - The terrace being “too dusty” - An outdoor light having been left on - Left over (unopened, untouched) food having been left in the refrigerator The owner blocked our car in the driveway as he ordered us around cleaning the house for an extra hour until we insisted we leave in order to catch a flight. Despite that, he refused to give back any of the deposit. What was most disappointing was that these instructions and rules for the house seemed to have been created after the fact – the interrogation that the owner carried out on check out day felt like a surprise attack and a character assassination more than a business transaction. In short, the property is lovely and the area nice, affordable, and beautiful. But we’d recommend having all of the details in writing from the beginning of your rental period or risk a rude encounter at the end.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We wanted to find a quiet and beautiful place far away from the tourist crowds. We really wanted to break from Moscow's crazy life and experience real Italian life in the province. I chose a villa for a long time, talking with the owners. Andrea, thank you very much, you helped me so much that he gave information about the location and infrastructure. The location and villa were even more beautiful than we expected. The villa is located in the mountains 10 minutes from the beach. I have not seen a more beautiful garden. Every day we ate apricots and pears from our garden, barbecue and pizza made in wood-fired oven in the garden. We rested with 3 children, children constantly played in the garden, it is absolutely safe. The villa is very comfortable, has everything you might need. Beautiful beaches are just 10 minutes from the villa. We liked Santa Maria di Castellabatte beach and Paestum beach. We traveled all over the region of Basilicata and Campania. We booked it in advance and received her at the airport of Naples. It will take about 1 and 5 hours prior to the Amalfi Coast and the charming towns - Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, about 2 hours to Sorrento and Naples, about 3 hours to Rome. We went to Capri by boat from our favorite Agropoli. This is a very beautiful old town, situated on the mountain. It will take 5-10 minutes to the center from the villa. Italian cuisine in this region is amazing. Nowhere else will you find such a wonderful mozzarella, tomato and wine from the region of Cilento. Marco, I still remember the cheese, which you treated us! We lived in this place 1, 5 months. During this time I had already accustomed to paradise! Andrea, Marco, thank you very much for everything! You are very lucky to have been born in Italy! Welcome to Moscow! Olga, Andrey and Stepa, Andrey Jr and Sasha of course))) with love!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The villa is in a lovely postion on the hillside with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The gardens in particular are wonderful, terraced with fruit trees, flowering shrubs and lawned areas. The villa has plenty of space inside and is well equiped for most peoples needs. A car is essential to get the best from the area. There is a well stocked supermarket a few minutes drive and Agropoli itself is a busy town with a good selection of resturants and shops. We loved the whole Cilento area both the beaches and mountains and trips to Naples and the Amalfi coast are accessible for day trips. The food and wine of the region was excellent, fresh and inexpensive.
