Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful holiday time in Villa Olympia in the first half of November. Our Dutch family booked the villa in order to spend some nice sunny days beofre winter starts in our country. Weather was really nice and we could spend some days on the beach. Even the sea and the swimming pool was warm and we enjoyed swimming. The villa was wonderful, exactly what we expected when we arranged our booking in September. The view to the sea and the White Mountains was without any doubt magnificent. The location was quiet without any traffic nearby and the centre of the village Prines could be reached within a five minutes walk. We really enjoyed the traditional village atmosphere and the city of Rethymno was just a few minutes drive by car. The contact with the owners was fantastic. Personal welcome and goodby. Always available when needed because they live in the neighbor village. They gave us a lot of important infomation about excursions and wonderful beaches. We have already booked our stay for next year and we will arrive again in the low season because at this time of the year you can really discover the Real Crete!!!
