Stayed Jun 20, 2021Alexandros was a very good host. Hé answered all our questions and more than that. He told us things to do in the neighbourhood and even arranged the PCR tests for the way back. But the house is too far away from the village , restaurants supermarket , so you need a car. The road to the house is very bad because of the flushes in 2020. Also there where many muskitos. When you go for rest its a very nice place

Stayed Jul 20, 2019Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at villas Alilea. The house fits the description and Alexandros and his mother offered a warm welcome. Politika is only 3 minutes away by car with nice tavernas and grocery shops. The private beach was fully (as in fully fully) equipped. We really liked our trips to Dafni too. 100% commendable!

Stayed Apr 15, 2019We enjoyed every minute at the villa. It was clean, well equipped and had breathtaking views and great grounds - especially loved by the children. The location was lovely - we could visit bustling Halkida in 30 mins or the mountainous Steni, or the tranquil Dafni. Myrto was very attentive and kind. Thoroughly recommended!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Alilea is a quite and beatifull place where you may descover the part of yourself you lost during the winter time and take all the energies you need in the life. The owners are the best personal trainers you can have to let you rest your body and relax your mind. Simply perfect if you look for recharging your batteries. Alessandra and Andrea from Italy

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very well kept property, situated in the middle of an olive grove. Property well maintained and serviced several times a week. Clean and functional. Very peaceful away from the hustle/bustle of city life. Beach is 5 minutes walk from the property. Does require a car to move around to other beaches and shops/village.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It's a very quiet place where you can rest and relax, a magic view of the sea merged with the mountains. In front of the house there's a greensward very beautiful and well care! The house is very clean, welcoming and the hosts are very kindness. Thank you for all!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were so pleased we had found Alilea Villas, it was a well equipped, very clean villa with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to a very quiet beach, and within driving distance of Athens for sightseeing, it was an ideal location for us. The owners were very nice, and very helpful. They were invaluable for suggesting places to visit etc. I have no hesitation in recommending the villas to anybody, ideal for families, couples, everybody!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved staying at Alilea Villas, and would love to stay there again. We liked this area of Evvia because it is unspoiled and there were few tourists. The sea was 5 minutes walk from the house. There is a group of 6 houses in a row. The houses are so solidly built that even when the weather is hot they feel cool inside. The solidity also makes for good soundproofing so if you are inside you can't hear anything from outside. Fences of 8-foot tall geraniums separate the houses and those, plus careful arrangement in the building, give a measure of privacy. The spacious area around is beautifully landscaped with olive trees, non-fruiting mulberries and flowers. There is plenty of safe space for children to run around or to play ball games. The houses are not luxurious but they are comfortable, sparklingly clean and have everything you need. There isn't a microwave, but with all the lovely fruit and vegetables available this didn't matter to us. Sitting outside is a delight. Myrto is an excellent host, and can sell you wonderful own-produce olive oil, herbs etc. One evening all the visitors together had souvlaki, salad etc and drinks, provided by Myrto; good quality and only a few euros for the two of us. It could be tricky if you had awful neighbours, but then what would people like that be doing going to remote North-west Evvia? Local beaches make good trips, but you need to be inventive to find places of interest to go to, especially if, like us, you don't want to go to Athens, Delphi or Halkida. The local roads were fine but very twisty, so 25–30 mph was mostly the speed at which we travelled.
