Spacious villa, 180* ocean view, large heated pool, 5 min from Calheta beach

Very nice house, well equipped, just a bit cold in the winter, if the weather is poor. The fireplace and the the extra heaters were very helpful.

A great house in a wonderful location. Everything was perfect.However, few things in the house could use replacing/upgrading, as they are no longer in perfect working order. Otherwise, we had a very good time at Casa das Flores. The handover also went smoothly. We will gladly return on our next visit.

Amazing villa, much space, great views, fully equipped kitchen, anything was beautiful.

Having stayed in many villas in the local area, this was by far the best value for money villa we have stayed in. Great view from well appointed outside space, great pool, comfy beds, and wants for nothing with regard to all other amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Casa das Flores. A spacious, well equipped and clean villa in a stunning location. The outside space and pool were great and the views outstanding. Madeira is such a beautiful island we will definitely return.

We had high expectations, and I can confirm all other positive feedback is indeed correct. We enjoyed 2 weeks in Villa das Flores.

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa das Flores. The house is amazing, set in beautiful grounds. Lovely pool, very private. Arco da Calheta is a perfect, central yet quiet holiday base to explore Madeira. The ocean view is just breathtaking!Great contact with the owners before travel. Super efficient check-in etc. We‘d love to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very spacious, exceptionally well equipped with a really good kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, although it takes a while to run hot. We particularly enjoyed log fires in the living room as it was actually quite cold while we were there. The only downside of our trip was that the weather wasn’t great while we were there. The flowers in the garden are exceptional, and particularly the scent of the gorgeous Jasmine bushes I shall never forget. All in all we very much enjoyed this house.

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Das Flores. Its great. Spacious, clean and really well appointed. Great location and so quiet too. We simply love it and we will return. Thanks Camilla - look forward to booking again soon.

We got off to a slightly rocky start, finding out only a couple of hours prior to checking in that the house was double booked. Not what we wanted to hear after 2 days of flying to get to Madeira! While this was disappointing, the owner did apologize profusely and respond quickly, accepting that this was a mistake at her end and booking us into a really nice local hotel for the first night. The next day, the move-in went smoothly. We were so glad to unpack our bags and relax. The house is beautiful, with a great view over the Atlantic. The pool is the ICING on the cake- long enough to swim lengths, private and heated if you need it (for a small upcharge. ) The house is very well kept up and very clean. It is also equipped with almost anything you could need, and feels like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again. Only a couple of small points: there is no air conditioning- which was not a big problem for us, as it was October and nights were a little cooler, but in hotter weather, some might find it a little warm in the house. There are fans in most rooms. There are roller shutters, but no screen doors, so leaving all the doors open to let in a breeze can lead to a few geckos and mosquitos getting into the house… but not a big deal as we were outside on the deck by the pool most of the time.

Very spacious and well kept house with large pool, outdoor kitchen and stunning view over the ocean. Kitchen extremely well kept (Miele appliances). This would be a straight 5 stars, with one exception. The surrounding was not as quite as we have hoped. Several neighbours with yappy dogs and quite some traffic on the nearby street. Otherwise absolutely great!!!

I have never left a bad review…anywhere. But you must know this. We left after 3 nights stay of no sleep due to a “cultural” celebration including Miley Cyrus and other artists of equivalent talent, mixed in with a Portuguese mass being BLASTED by concert loudspeakers from town center from 6pm until 2AM…yes 2AM. After 3 nights of this we were losing it. The owners who do not live locally could really care less. No forewarning that every July this occurs. After much discussion they refunded us $150 of our 2 week stay. It was confirmed by others in town to last an entire week. In addition,Calheta beach is not within walking distance and good luck finding parking..,paid parking…time limited…and the family friendly resort on that small beach was filled with chain smoking patrons…not a relaxing or healthy vibe…again, IF you can find parking. The house itself was spacious and lovely in spite of overuse of scented cleaning products. Keep in mind that going anywhere in Madeira requires numerous tunnel passages; winding roads and insane traffic circles. Tobacco use is everywhere.

Really lovely well equipped villa with everything you could need. Short distance fron restaurants and sandy beach. Highly recommended.

The property is beautiful and well kept. The owners are always available and the grounds keepers are great! wonderful area, beautiful island. Rent a car if you stay in this area to see the island , but you can always grab a cab if need too. They have everything in the house! huge beautiful windows for the best views! BBQ and pool area fantastic! I would recommend a pillow topper in the main bedroom bed its very firm, but that is my only complaint haha if that classifies as one. highly recommend!! This was so great we were 4 days into our holiday and rebooked for June next year!
