when we got there we assumed that the villa was going to be all for ourselves as well as the pool but we were wrong we would have to share the pool with some permanent tenants they had there which were men which made my daughter and I very uncomfortable aside from that on the bedroom upstairs there was a lot of rat poop on the edge or the sing as well as in the jacuzzi, the bedsheets and towels were also stained with some sort of orange color it was discussing very unpleasant. I would never recommend this place to anyone or even think of returning. you would at least tink the place would be cleaner but no.

This place worked well for our family (2 adult children and us). It was incredibly spacious. 1 note is that the 3 bedroom is detached - wouldn't work well for a toddler, but our 20 year old loved it.). The pool is shared with another VRBO but we only saw someone out there once. Clean and good location. Street down to the place is steep, but the place makes up for it. PLUS there was a roving gang of capuchin monkeys that enterntained us daily.

A beautiful villa, quiet yet close to the beach and restaurants. The kids loved the pool. Silvia was attentive.

The property is amazing -- beautiful plants everywhere, and we saw birds and iguanas. The upstairs patio with hammocks is great for relaxing, and we loved coming back to the pool at the end of the day. Property had everything we needed and Silvia's communication was great

We loved this property hosted by Silvia. It was so spacious and clean and tucked away . I hidden gem. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs bedroom which opened up to a grand, what we called the TREE House . Hamocks and huge couch to overlook the jungle atmosphere with monkeys and birds of all kinds. So restful. Silvia was minutes away and very approachable if you need something. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We were pleased beyond measure but the description is as shown. Would stay there again. Costa Rica is lovely and so are the people. One thing is that the drive way down to the house is steep. Just a heads up on that. You will not be disappointed.

We recently spent 9 days at Villa La Foresta and had a mixed experience overall. The location is picturesque, the home itself is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and delightful outdoor seating. However, we encountered some challenges during our stay. Firstly, the steep driveway leading to the property ends abruptly in a dangerous T-intersection, requiring assistance from someone at the top of the hill to navigate safely. Additionally, the driveway's sharp incline caused scraping to the bottom of our sedan. While the bedrooms are air-conditioned as advertised, the lack of cooling in the central area and outdoor spaces, made it uncomfortable to utilize the common spaces, leading us to retreat to our rooms frequently. On a positive note, the owner was responsive to our inquiries and provided clear instructions on operating equipment, managing gate locks, and arranging for additional cleaning.

Had an amazing stay. I loved waking up each morning waiting for the monkeys to swing by while having our coffee on the patio. Silvia is such a joy and full of information about Costa Rica. A must stay..you will love it. We are looking forward to returning

The property manager/owner was lovely - answered all of our questions quickly and made recommendations for activities. We could walk to a small grocery store and a restaurant/bar. The kitchen was well equipped and the showers were strong and hot (not the case everywhere we stayed). Outside are with garden, pool and patio was lovely. My only note was that the 3rd bedroom was actually off the upstairs bedroom on the veranda. Would probably work fine for a family.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a little bit hard to find at first. The location is an easy commute to Manuel Antonio and the beaches. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool and hammocks. It is very spacious. Rebeca answered our questions promptly and checked in with us a few times. :)

The villa is enormous. The master bedroom has a massive terrace with sofa, bed and 2 hammocks to rest. The kitchen is well equipped. Silvia even provided us with Italian coffee maker as the filter coffee is not for us Europeans ?. The Tv is loaded with programs. The pool is gem. Quite big for a private villa. Also shared with the other villa which is occupied by long term tenants who didn’t show up for the entire stay so no problem at all. The pool is adult deep and wasn’t problem for my kids as this is the way to make them swim properly ??. During our morning coffee in the garden we saw different birds, iguana and 2 small monkeys crossed our path. All for free. The property is located away from the main road but not too far. It needs a bit more map skills to find it but not too difficult. Nice and quite. There is shop and well priced and tasty restaurant 5min walk away. If you don’t want to cook they do breakfast, lunch (Casado) and dinner. This was our longest stay (4night) in Costa Rica and I don’t regret it for a second. The owner Silvia replied to all our requests and questions within 30min. Also parking space for a car if you travel around. Overall great property and definitely would recommended
