Serene Lake View Villa at Island on Lake Travis

This property is not maintained. It is listed as a two bath but the shower in the master bath has a bad mixer valve and cannot get hot water so therefore we had to use the secondary bathroom. Also, the gas fire pit on the balcony does not have a gas container. In addition, the elevator servicing this unit was not functioning so we had to carry all of our belongings up and down three flights of stairs. The view is great so we will probably return sometime but not to this unit.

Stunning views and beautiful property

Despite the cold weather, my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. This is a bit outside the city but a lovely area with beautiful views from the balcony. Good communication with the host, very nice little condo on the water!

wanted to share with you the wonderful time we had during our stay over the 4th weekend at the Lake Travis condo. It was truly a delightful experience, and I wanted to express our gratitude for providing such a cozy and well-equipped unit for our family vacation.The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove and a good coffee maker, to the convenient dishwasher and washer/dryer facilities. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a couch while admiring the spectacular view of Lake Travis - it was truly a highlight of our trip.While we had a fantastic time overall, there are a few minor maintenance issues that we noticed during our stay. The outlet in the master bathroom was not working, and there was one outlet in the master bedroom that appeared to be hanging and could pose a potential hazard. Despite these small inconveniences, we all had a blast during our stay. The kids had a great time in their own room with their own TV, and we all made unforgettable memories by the lake, the deers. Rest assured, we are already looking forward to returning for another visit soon.

We had a wonderful girls weekend. Our only problem was that it ended so fast.

This is the third time we've stayed at this property while visiting family in Lago Vista. It is perfect for us in every way! The unit is comfortable and the view of the lake is spectacular. We'll be back!

My family including my husband and 2 sons (18 and 20) had a wonderfully relaxing time at this condo. It is in need of some minor repairs but was clean and very comfortable. Be careful of the multiple switches everywhere, as they are not labeled and we had a little issue with the jets in the jacuzzi tub! All in all, a wonderful week- but if you're looking for fancy and high end finishes, not your spot. If you're looking for a gorgeous view and a comfortable place, you won't be disappointed.

Everything from booking , the view , cleanliness , comfortable to check out was great . We stayed here for a wedding at the Villa Antonia so the location was great!

Personal opinion/observation: The purpose of this rental unit is solely to make money. There doesn't appear to be any pride of ownership or concern for the guest experience. The unit desperately needs refurbishing in all areas - especially the carpet in the second bedroom, the copper sinks in the master bath, the peeling ceiling in the hall bath, and the windows and doors. When it is windy the air whistles into the unit and when it is extremely windy the air HOWLS into the unit. The unit seemed to be clean for the most part - bare feet did not get dirty and all surfaces were free of dust. However, between the dim lighting and Mediterranean tile everywhere (even the showers) just about everything looked dirty and dingy. My wife kept wiping off the copper sinks in the master bath because they were so badly damaged from improper care they looked disgusting. She also washed the bath rugs because they were matted and dingy - after washing they were fluffy but still dingy - at least we were sure they were clean. As far as the guest experience, there were no glasses in the kitchen - just a few highballs and latte mugs. The sheets on the master bed were old and scratchy. Wine drinkers need to bring their own corkscrew. The hot water took forever to arrive and the pressure in the showers was poor. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked well.

We stayed 5 days and were able to enjoy all of the amenities at the lake. The pool and hot tub were warm enough to use together. The tennis courts were maintained enough to play on. Overall, the view was perfect and relaxing.

Beautiful view. Needs a little upgrading. Plug in Master has exposed wires. Showers have some mold. No wine opener. Sheets in Master had some dark stains. Overall a great place, just needs a little care.

We have family in a small home in Lago Vista. It's so nice to be a mile away in our own place when we visit. We enjoy the swimming pools, spectacular views and watching the deer.

The property was nice but wish the website was more updated to current: The indoor pool and one of the outdoor pools were closed and also the restaurant. The VRBO add for the property showed a balcony with a small table gas fireplace, which would have been nice in the evening, but there was no propane tank. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked and cleaner. We did make the best of the trip and took a ride to Fredericksburg and Austin. Not trying to be negative, just honest so this may help the Host and other future guest.

This was a great experience. This is the first time renting a room from Vrbo and it was great. I will so do this again.

Our children and grand kids live in Lago Vista. We like to stay at the nearby Island so we can enjoy the pool and spread out. The views from our balcony were outstanding! The grandkids love seeing the deer everywhere. We will be back!

Beautiful, fully equipped and very comfortable. Great view. Excellent location. We enjoyed all of the deer that roam freely around the island. We hope to be back next year.
