Secluded, Exclusive spacious villa with private heated pool, full air-con, Wi-Fi

The host was availing immediately when we needed him. The villa was as descried & very comfortable & convenient.

The pool and the entire area were beautifully maintained with many lounge chairs and there was an attached patio with a dining table plus 8 chairs with a spotless grill. The porch in the front of the house had many large pots filled with flowering plants. The whole house was very clean & decorated with wonderful African art along with stylish & colorful prints. The kitchen was incredibly equipped with every appliance a cook might require. The bathrooms were never short of hot water & the pressure was more than adequate . I would highly recommend this house.

We stayed here for a week in September 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa and pool were of the highest standard and the location set amongst vineyards and olive trees was very relaxing. It is close to both Carcassonne and Narbonne and there is a Carrefour in the near by town of Rieux Minervois.

We, four adults and a nine yesr old, stayed at this lovely property one week in August. It was a week of extreme heat and the pool was well used whilst the aircon kept us cool indoors. The house is large and very clean with beautiful views over olive trees and vineyards with mountains in the back ground. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of books and boardgames for evening fun. The owners are very nice and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. There are lots of wine tasting/buying opportunities in the area and many little cute villages to explore nearby. All in all we had a perfect weeks hol.

The villa is really lovely and extremely well equipped. The swimming pool was really fantastic and we spent hours relaxing on the terrace. The view is wonderful. The owners were very helpful on a difficult first travel day and extremely responsive when I had questions about local taxis etc. We loved the fact that there was a pool table and table tennis. The lounge is extremely spacious so on any rainy days there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. There are a couple of supermarkets within easy reach by car and a number of nice restaurants, particularly in Homps. Most importantly for us since we were travelling with my elderly disabled mother, the property was very accessible with a downstairs step free en suite double and railings into the pool. We searched quite hard for somewhere that accommodate her needs and this villa was absolutely perfect for that. The only comment I would make was that it is normal especially in a high end villa to have a small amount of welcome food (loaf of bread, jam, butter) and this was not provided. Given we had such a difficult travel day and arrived when all shops were closed (and could not visit a supermarket until our car hire was resolved) this was problematic. I would expect that in a villa at this price point and having stayed in many over the years I would say it would usually be a given. Otherwise everything was absolutely outstanding.

Beautiful views, lots of privacy and one of the best stocked properties that we have ever rented are what you get with Kilima. And an actual, proper, propane, full-sized BBQ grill which is virtually impossible to find in Europe. Ductless heat pumps in every room so you can always set the perfect temperature. We would have liked to spend even more time in the heated pool but unfortunately the September temperatures were a little lower than we had expected. We had a great stay at Kilima.

Lovely house, air conditioning a bonus with hot weather peaking up to 39 degrees, and a great pool. Lounge with 3 sofas had lots of room to relax. Owner very helpful and always replied quickly to questions.

We had an excellent experience here. Very helpful owner. Very accurate description. A great place to stay.

We have visited the Minervois several times and enjoy it very much,the small villages,markets,wineries,also visits to the Mediterranian ports.the house suited us very well,well furnished,lots of dishes,glasswear,cooking utensils etc,BBQ. pleasant outdoor seating and dining area.nice bathrooms.lovely views over the countryside.
