The staff here is helpful and attentive. However, this property is suited for a specific type of traveler. If you are interested in a stay in an area with limited options, this may be of consideration. This is at the north end of the island where the streets are not yet constructed and there are only a small number of eating options. Most of the activity is at the south end.The property does have a pool and some bigger villas. Be sure to inquire about your specific villa as ours was a bit dated inside and had a very open concept including the restrooms (no doors or walls in some cases separating the room).Again the property does have some nice features including a small beach-not swimmable but can fish.

Our hosts, led by Michaela, made sure every detail was arranged from airport pick up, golf cart rental, to connecting us with people to get excursions planned. The kitchen was well appointed and the a/c kept things cool for our comfort. The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained with a sparkling pool and access to a dock for boat pick ups. We're glad we chose to stay north of San Pedro to get out of the busyness of the city but it was still just a 30 min golf cart ride away. The people of Belize are warm and hospitable and we made many friends at local restaurants and stores. La Perla is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation while enjoying the beauty of Ambergris Caye. We had kids and older parents and everyone had a wonderful time. Don't hesitate to book here!

First off- Michaela and her staff are THE most amazing people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting, let alone work with. Every detail you could think of was taken care of , sometimes even before you could think of it! Jade house was fabulous- we couldn't have chosen any better. From breakfasts in, swinging on the dock, kayaking, the pool, massages with Juanita on the deck- can't be beat. Michaela does it all- scheduling massages (Juanita), air and land transportation, excursions, golf carts, picking up something from town for you-WOW. We are so grateful for the way the beautiful Belizean people treated and accepted us. Will definitely be back :)

You can’t beat the location would definitely go back.

The master suite was amazing! And the kitchen was well stocked with glasses and utensils etc.
