Welcome to Salty Shack C! This 2 BED/2 BATH upstairs apartment sleeps 6. Wake up every day to sunrises, surfers, and the fantastic sound of crashing waves! This top floor unit is one of the three units in a triplex. It sits across the street from the beach and boasts a private entranceand deck within walking distance to the heart of Folly Beach.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a super laid-back community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping and, of course, a gorgeous beach. The location is perfect, as it is by Center Street and across from the Beach! We are located just a short 15-minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking only 0.5 miles away.

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
You are offered spots for two standard sized vehicles in front of the unit. If you are driving an oversized vehicle you will only have room for one.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (1 pet max, no more than 40 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

    Good access to beach and town. Nice family room for relaxing. Clean kitchen. Master bedroom bathroom needs door to be fixed due to door sticking to frame making it hard to open/close and bathroom shower door needs replacement because it falls off frame.

    Location is great-just across the street and over one house to the beach access. Parked car on arrival and never needed it until departure. Peaceful. Walked to everything. Great system for check in and check out.

    Everything was great. The porch is a little dicey with splinters and needs refinished. The inside is clean and has most things; however definitely needs paint job and some repairs. I will say the space out front is very nice to have and the open concept makes it feel a lot bigger. Also definitely needs a new grill.

    This is our 5th year staying and we suggested this in the past. The beds are very uncomfortable and so are the pillows. At the price point we feel like this needs to be addressed and newer ones need to be added. Also when we first started coming to the Salty Shack we had an ocean view. The property has not been maintained and the trees are overgrown near the upper deck. Also there are several loose boards on the decking that could cause a major accident.

    Great location and the minimal needs for a beach stay. The backyard was flooded and nothing was done about it! There was severe rain. But all the other properties had pumps getting the water out. This one did not. It was very clean, yet needs to be updated in certain ways. Great location.

    Location was great. Place is spacious. The guest bed was not comfortable. The main bedroom bed was. The place could have been cleaner but we really enjoyed our stay. They location and patio area were top notch!

    The property manager was very nice. Our stay however was not great due to the air not working and having to have people in our unit EVERY day to fix the makeshift units they put in. It felt like it was always something and waiting around for people.

    Check in process was easy! The stay was great and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach. All though the dryer was down while we were there, management insisted on giving us a gift card to a local restaurant for our troubles. Over all very pleased and if we return to folly we would rent again!

    Very clean, open space and location was great. Did not have blender and be aware of parking. If you are in A or C you will be parking in the front of the units and if you have a larger car you will not fit. Unit B had the entire side of the house to park in.

    The condo itself was great - especially the deck that goes with this unit. But, the location is fantastic. Easy access and close to the beach and only a block from the stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

    Walk out the door and acros the street is the beach . Walk to the Right you’re at the pier and center. St., which takes youeverywhere , Rounded by everything.or to one of the restaurants Go Right Center, Street you’re in the middle of everything in town just right there couldn’t have a better location absolutely wonderful

    The property was lovely, access was easy, two parking spots for our unit. Lots of shops, restaurants etc. close by. The kitchen was well appointed. Some good music entertainment at the local bars which was nice in low season. Communication with the property manager was excellent. I would recommend this place.

    Was unfortunately in middle of Helene hitting SC. I was told there was no power so decided not to drive there until third day of my stay. Was provided a link to check power but link required phone number on account which I did not have. So I asked them if it was on and did not get a response until the day I left. So missed part of my trip but understood it was a hectic time for everyone. Did have a great location, wish I was able to have stayed my entire time there.

    We had a great stay and the location was perfect. Easy walk to downtown shopping, restaurants, and bars without having to deal with paying to park. Unfortunately the beach restoration project was right in front of our condo but that was at no fault to anyone. Just bad timing.
