SALENTO VILLA WITH POOL, GARDEN, TERRACES, NEAR THE SEA OF CASTRO

We truly enjoyed our stay at Giulia’s house in Diso. Traveling with two families, a total of eight people, we’ve been exploring Europe together for many years – from Germany to Spain, and Portugal France and Italy. Out of more than 20 beautiful houses we’ve stayed in, Giulia’s was by far the most outstanding.The house is decorated with so much love and taste that we felt as if dear friends had left their home for us. We especially appreciated the layout: the charming garden house with two bedrooms, each with its own small living room and bathroom, created plenty of space and privacy even for a larger group. The kitchen is compact but very well equipped with two large fridges and everything a cook could need – though sharper knives would have been nice.The pool is generous in size, and the rooftop terrace offers a stunning view at sunset. Diso itself was a pleasant surprise: a small town with a supermarket, fruit and vegetable shop, and two cafés – perfect for daily needs. The well equipped Famila supermarket is just 10’ away. Beyond that, Apulia amazed us with its beautiful little towns, wonderful beaches, and authentic charm.A special thanks goes to Giulia, who was always there when we needed advice or recommendations – warm and attentive, just like a good friend hosting us. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be back.

This is a lovely villa for a family holiday. It’s beautifully decorated with a wonderful pool, gardens and lots of space to relax. We enjoyed strolling into Diso and going to the local shop, pizzeria, cafe and restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and it was a very peaceful place to be.

Great property for our party of 8. Villa was spacious and well appointed. Owners met us at the property on check in and gave us advice on places to visit. Pool was essential for hot summer days with humidity. Parking is street based. Diso is a small, quiet non tourist town. It was a great home base for a local meal or two and morning cappuccino and pastries. Location is near Castro Marina which was a fun location to visit and swim. We spent most time coastally by the water to cool down. Otranto was another lovely city with shopping and delicious food. If you come when it’s cooler in temperature, exploring inland cities is possible.

We loved our stay. The pool and gardens are stunning. The house is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you’ll need. Great location. Diso is a quaint village, closely located to Castro and lots a great beaches. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property, the photos don’t do it justice

We had a wonderful stay at Giulia’s home in Diso! From the moment we arrived, both Giulia and the home felt incredibly welcoming and accommodating for our two families. We especially appreciated having our own personal spaces—some of us in the main house and others in the pool house—which made the stay feel both communal and private.The outdoor patio was a perfect gathering spot, and the deep water pool was a highlight—we spent many relaxing hours swimming and soaking in the Salento sun. My only regret is that we only had two nights here; I easily could have stayed a full week.The location is fantastic—set in a quiet town with all the essentials like a grocery store and dinner options, yet central to the area’s beautiful beaches and attractions. The only minor downside was parking on the busy street; it would have been nice to have designated spots within the driveway or garage.Overall, we absolutely loved our time here and would gladly return. We loved this villa with its pool and beautiful gardens.

The house is absolutely beautiful, vaste, well organized, with intimacy for everyone (large rooms with bathrooms for each) and at the same time nice terrasse, garden and large swimming pool to be all together. Close to the coast and its beautiful coves, restaurants, boat tour, fantastic views...it's the perfect place to enjoy nice holidays with family and friends! We found life quite cheap compares to other similar places in the mediterranean coast.

We loved our stay here so much!! There was so much room for everyone (ages 8-80) to play, sleep, and gather for meals on the gorgeous patio or swims in the pool. Giulia was an amazing communicator and helped us tremendously on her personal time when we experienced a medical emergency. I can’t thank her enough for sharing her home with us and treating us so well. We truly hope to be back to enjoy the lovely area, the beautiful and relaxing home, and the stunning seas nearby!

I booked this villa for my family. It worked really well as there are two self contained flats behind the pool which was perfect for each couple with young children. One on the ground floor, one on the first floor, each with its own bathroom. There are two main bedrooms and the mezzanine in the main house. The pool was very clean and refreshing for everyone as the weather is hot in the summer, it is deeper than it looks so great for actually swimming. The air conditioning worked. Diso has nice cafes which are easy to walk to. There are good quality supermarkets within a short drive, as is the beautiful coast. The house is stylish, the kitchen is small as shown in the pictures but there is a lovely large table for everyone outside. Giulia was a great host, easy to communicate with and I would absolutely recommend this stay.
