Romantic Oceanfront Villa near Crane Resort Lovebirds Special

This was supposed to be a graduation trip for my daughter. The listing gives impression that there were conveniently located beaches nearby and a pristine beach 12 steps away. Instead, we found that the beach 12 steps away was covered in seaweed and the water so rough that even an advanced swimmer would have issues due to the SEASONAL seaweed in the water. The view of the ocean is beautiful during the day, unfortunately it was not relaxing to spend time on the decks due to the noisy construction that was going on all day everyday next door. The air conditioning was not on upon our arrival, and 3d bedroom air conditioning was not working-one of the guests slept 2 nights on the coach downstairs. This could have been resolved prior to our arrival if it had been tested and turned on to bring the villa to a comfortable temperature. It took a couple of days of property manager and the A/C repairman going in and out before the A/C was fixed and the room was comfortable to sleep. The first full day wasn't much better. We discovered that the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and that there were ants on the kitchen counters and in the kitchen cupboards. We had to wash every dish and utensil prior to use. Manager treated once for the ants, but they persisted. Then on the 3d night another room A/C broke. The toilet upstairs also stopped working. At this point we moved to a resort that had a beach, A/C, clean dishes, no ants, no construction or workers coming in and out regularly.

What a wonderful location directly on the cliff line with the sound of waves breaking. Very relaxing and happy to spend days on the back porch reading whilst listening to the waves breaking below and watching spray plumes thrown into the air.

We stayed at the Belair House in January 2025 for 9 nights. We enjoyed everything about the home. It had all the supplies we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was amazing. Steps that led down to the beach were easily accessible. The area felt safe and directions received by owner to the house were easy to follow.

We had such a relaxing holiday stay at Paradise Found! The location is superb if you’re looking for calming ocean sounds and pristine views and proximity to the water. The listing was charming, clean, and bright and we found it to be exactly as listed. Communication with the host was a breeze, and we really enjoyed our stay! You should know that it is a little far from Bridgetown and the more “tourist-y” attractions, so I would say renting a car for this stay is crucial. Also the beaches on this side of the island are rough/have strong currents, so you do have to drive if you’re looking to do a lot of swimming.

Fantastic home on the ocean. Property owner is amazing and cleaning crew keeps it spotless! It’s a home away from home. Had a terrific time.

My husband and I have not been back to Barbados since Covid, so this was a much needed vacation. I chose the villa because we wanted privacy, a view, and more space than just a hotel room could provide. We were not disappointed at all. The pictures do not do it justice. The view was amazing, and the property was maintained well, and the inside was clean, and spacious. The owner communicated throughout our stay, prior to our stay, and even after our stay. The property manager met us at the villa, and even transported me to the grocery store to pick up staples. The car rental company that the owner recommended transported us to the villa, where the rental car was waiting for us. As this was a new part of the island that we were not familiar with, the assistance was greatly appreciated. We plan to go back to Barbados, and I look forward to staying at the villa again. The last night of our stay we drove less than a mile to a quaint restaurant. The owner accommodated a late check out, which provided us with the ease and comfort to not have to leave the villa prior to our flight. I miss it already!

Three seniors enjoyed this wonderful house and its location. The property manager was outstanding and responded quickly to each request. It is a beautiful location and we did not want to leave to explore other places in Barbados. We hope to return again and again, we have rented other properties in Barbados but this was the best.

First time in Barbados and our stay was just fabulous! Was looking for quiet, and an oceanfront accommodations that would offer the sounds of the ocean waves at night. This was exactly that!! Couldn't have asked for more! I will dream of this place well after im gone back home. I even recorded 6 hrs of the ocean so that i could take a little piece of Paradise found home with me!! Thank you Karen for being easily reached when needed. And her grounds keeper Trevor was so accomodating! He helped me the first day i arrived with driving on the opposite side of road, helped me with grocery shopping and took me to Oistins for some freshly prepared fish which was truly yummy and so fresh! Trevor went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable! Thank you!! ❤️
