Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed there as a family for one week with two dogs. The third bedroom is quite small, but the others are more than okay. In general, the size of the house is ideal for 4 people, but large enough for 5 to 6 as well. Which I found very positive is the fact that the decoration of the house is very lovely, it is so nice to have a holiday home that is really made a home, and not just a shelter to stay for a week! The furniture and decoration are chosen with care I think. The garden as well is very neat (as the whole village as well, I must say) and the water around is lovely and it must be wonderful in summer. Another positive thing is that the kitchen is really well equipped, you'll miss nothing you need for regular cooking. All in all I found it a very lovely place. Btw the contact with the owners was very fine and helpful! The few issues we had: when we booked we didn't know that the next beach was a 5 min drive away, in Breskens. And it says that there is a fence around the property - for dog owners or small children it might be important to know that the fence to the river is just about 30 cm high, so it will not really keep anyone from taking a bath in the river (which is prohibited, fyi) ;-). Anyway I liked our stay, we had a good time, and I would book the place again!
