Stayed Feb 20, 2025This property is absolutely wonderful! Every detail has been carefully designed with guest comfort in mind. It’s beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. The pool area is especially inviting and perfect for relaxation. We had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

Stayed Apr 18, 2025The Pufferfish Villas was just a fabulous vacation experience. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, our Villa was spotless and had everything we needed. Check-in and out was seamless, taking zero effort, and all communication with the host was superb. Loreto was great fun, too. We walked to the beach, we walked to town, we road bikes supplied by Pufferfish. Sometimes we just lounged at the pool which is also gorgeous and about a 10 second walk from our Villa front door. Just an awesome place to vacation. Thank you!

Stayed Mar 19, 2025Five star all the way. The property is even better in person than online. Super clean, super owners, fabulous towels and bedding. Tons of dishes and everything else you could ever possibly need for a week stay. The bicycles are at excellent condition and easy to use getting back and forth from town. Havccomplimentary laundry service on site is a big plus.

Stayed Apr 9, 2024This lovely casita was exactly what my husband and I sought: privacy, quiet, comfort, and convenience. There are two villas onsite, but visually separate when using your patio. The pool area is capacious for only two villas, plenty of room for everyone, both in sun and shade. We slept great because it was so wonderfully quiet in that residential part of Loreto. The villa was outfitted with everything, absolutely everything you could think of, in the kitchen, in the bath, in the bedroom. The littlest touches showed that designing and furnishing these casitas was a labor of love. The pool was glorious after a day of sunny adventure and the bed was so comfy. Everything was IMMACULATE. Doug is an onsite, but hands-off owner, but friendly and very available. We would highly recommend.

Stayed Mar 6, 2024Top of the list is a cozy patio and heated inviting pool. The villa was very comfortable and perfect for our 3 week stay. Very attractive decor and beautiful landscaping and private and safe environment. All amenities provided. Thanks for a 5 star stay!

Stayed Feb 20, 2024Doug and Hope were excellent hosts and the casita was immaculate. They have done a fantastic job making a comfortable and restful environment for guests. The pool area is lovely and has lots of areas to sit in the sun or escape from the sun. The pool itself is small but beautiful and a great temperature. So many thoughtful details - truly one of the very nicest places we have stayed.
