Marigot Bay, Marigot Bay
The Serenity Bay Villa is located in the quiet, pristine bay of Trou Rolland – right next to Marigot Bay. The villa stands elegantly up on the hillside with a magnificent view overlooking the bay and out over the ocean’s horizon. A private infinity pool, large patios, and bay windows provide optimal viewing points from all over the house. Plus, you can easily go down to the beach, where there is rarely a footprint.
The Serenity Bay Villa is perfect for a group or large family looking for some quiet time away, where the serene views of the Caribbean are sure to rejuvenate and invigorate you. Enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean in all its glory while maintaining all the comforts and amenities of home. For one, a contemporary, state-of-the-art kitchen & BBQ with an ocean view will satisfy even your most ambitious home chef. Entertainment-wise, there’s cable TV in the tv room and WiFi. But who are we kidding – we all know most of your time will be spent relaxing in the infinity pool or kicking back on a patio chair taking it all in.
The villa features 6 bedrooms, and room for even more if your party insists. Each bedroom enjoys en suite bathrooms designed and built by Italian craftsmen and ceiling fans for when all you need is a little breeze. Bedrooms are climate-controlled.
There are 4 levels of patio decks – each equipped for entertaining, sunbathing, swimming, and dining. An elegant central-helical staircase built in Maine adjoins the floors together. And outdoor spiral staircases allow for easy movement between decks. All floors are covered with Travertine stone tiles and all counters are of rich dark granite.
The main living area enjoys breathtaking Caribbean vistas through tall walls of windows that can be opened to allow the sea breeze easy access. This room also features a vaulted Caribbean-style ceiling and a central tower.
The villa’s beauty is not just on the inside though. The surrounding property has been intimately landscaped with rainforest gardens, a waterfall, flowering plants, lawns, and tropical fruit trees. The entrance courtyard is skirted by dozens of tropical plants and palm trees and allows for ample parking.
The villa’s location is very private with only a few houses around – close enough for the peace of security but not so close to invading your privacy whatsoever. The Serenity Bay Villa enjoys the perfect balance of the tranquil, quiet state of the Trou Rolland Bay, and the lively restaurants, shopping, and activities of Marigot Bay - just a 2-minute drive over and down the ridge.
There is no grocery store located in Marigot Bay, I highly recommend stocking the villa with groceries on arrival. Please ask for more details on this service. The closest grocery store is located in Cul de Sac-Massy (20 min drive away).
Overall, I was extremely pleased with this house. The house was beautiful, the view was beautiful, and it was it very well stocked, well thought out house. My only complaint and I hesitate to call it. A complaint, was that they had staff there almost every day. While it adds to the cleanliness and the upkeep of the property, it definitely interfered with our privacy There always seem to be somebody around. There were days that we wanted to just sit at the house and relax and look out over the ocean, but there were people lingering around. While this wasn’t a huge issue it would have been nice to have a little more privacy. We absolutely loved the place otherwise!
Our trip to St Lucia was the beginning of May and we stayed in the Trou Rollande villa in Marigot Bay. What an absolutely beautiful home! From the location to the design of the home to the spectacular views we were in paradise. The entire staff were very friendly and accommodating. The house was meticulously maintained both inside and out. Wonderful pool to enjoy. We had everything we needed to make our stay the best. We enjoyed every second and highly recommend.
Very private hideaway with stunning views, cool breezes, beautiful garden landscaping and full amenities. The well-appointed house is spacious and lovely. Property manager Nina and husband are very friendly and welcoming. Mr. Anthony and Ms. Alces were easy to reach; quite agreeable and always available for taxi service. Fun family excursions to Sugar Beach; hiking; cooking; shopping - all great. Highly recommend.
The home, the team, the area, the food, the chef, the maid service , all of it so perfect. We can’t wait to come back next year!
The house is brilliantly designed, beautifully furnished, and immaculately maintained by very nice staff. We enjoyed a good balance between relaxing by the pool and participating in energetic island activities - diving, snorkelling, hiking the Pitons, and a fabulous boat trip to Sugar Bay for lunch.
The house is maintained beautifully. Has a superb view and a great pool. There is no air conditioning on the main floor so it can get quite hot, but the lower floors (accessed by a spiral staircase) have AC.
This home is just as pictured and more! Beautifully appointed, well stocked with the most incredible view. The property manager met us and walked us through the house. So many more amenities than imagined. The walk to Marigot bay is a little challenging, especially if you are handicapped. Cabs always available. Recommend Anthony Griffith!
We loved the views and the pool. We had everything we needed and the week flew by. We definitely recommend the Private Chef Claudia Felicien who came to our house and made us an excellent meal! Thank you to Nina and the whole management team for being so helpful. We will definitely be back!
Everything was first rate. Nina and her stay were superb. Definitely would recommend.
Our vacation at the home was amazing. The view is honestly unbelievable. The pool is fantastic as well. St Lucia is a hot place so somewhere to cool off is nice. The home was quite hot on the main top floor but it’s the Caribbean so we sucked it up and enjoyed it. The rooms all have air so we made sure we kept our doors closed and it was a nice cool off at the end of the day. The only thing I would point out is the pool deck is quite slippery and the railing around the pool area maybe a concern with younger children. The home was clean and spacious. Housekeeping was a bonus and the workers are all very friendly. There was nothing I would change. The location of the home is at the top of a hill which is why the view is so nice. It is about a 0.7 km walk down to Marigot Bay which is great exercise and quite the incline. Fine for adults but children get quite tired walking up. The beach at Marigot Bay is small but serves its purpose. The food at the restaurants were all very good. We did afternoon trips down to the bay and took the fairy over to DoLittles. There is a pool at the restaurant Customers are allowed to use which was a huge bonus for our children. We would return to this home with our family and enjoyed our trip so much. Thank you to the house staff and manager for being so accommodating.
